Hello everyone, Straight question: what thickness is needed for the thermal pads on this card? VRAM? VRM? MOS? Backplate? Thanks in advance!

You could probably obtain the pad specs and/or order them through EVGA tech support, something I’m in the process of doing, but I wish they’d just list them on GPU spec sheets. For future reference, factory pads are required for RMA acceptance. That’s why I’m ordering them in the event I need to remove my block and send my card in for service.

I just went through an RMA. They don't care if they are factory pads are on or not. Heck, they said I could put it together without pads as long as I leave a note in the box that says there are no pads.

Then, I guess it’s tech-dependent. I’ve both seen and been told by a tech that the factory pads are needed when RMA’ing a card.

2.25 and 2.75? Well, those are pretty uncommon. Should I use 3mm to replace 2.75 and 2.5 to replace 2.25 or what would be the best option?

Yes, good question! I ask myself the same one. Does anyone have the answer?

I'm sticking to Stock pads....although not much difference between 2.5mm and 2.75mm or 2.75mm and 3 mm (1/4 mm) is buggerall (maybe the thickness of a strand of hair), I would be more concerned with pliability. Evga sent me a complete set of stock pads and I purchased a couple of tubes of thermal putty....stock is stock ;)

Where did you get the thermal putty? Did they sell it to you? I just got my 3080ti ftw about an hour ago and pulled it apart. More thermal putty than was on my 2080ti.
