tl;dr - I recently upgraded my CPU, now my 3080 has a single red light, and the RGBs no longer work. GPU runs fine, however.
I shut down the PC, unplugged everything, etc. Removed the cooler, placed the new chip, thermal paste, yadda yadda.
When I turned the PC back on, there was a brief burning smell (originally I thought thermal paste), and I noticed the red light on the 3080, with the missing RGBs. There was nothing on my monitor (though in hindsight, I'm not sure I connected the DP cable).
I quickly shut the PC back down, checked all of the PCIe cables, checked for thermal paste anywhere, all looked good. Reconnected everything, and it all booted up fine, except for the single red light and no RGBs.
I've double checked all cables, reseated the GPU, tried disabling power via ErP in the BIOS, still the same result.
Looking through the forum, most of the posts around this issue seem to have an entirely dead card, but all recommend going through RMA.
My questions:
1. Any chance this card is going to die on me soon? Or can I just live without my RGBs and my little red light?
2. Is this an RMA case?
Edit:
PSU is an NZXT C850, using the 3 6+2 cables that came with it.
