Could all who bought and installed the hybrid kit or bought a 20-series hybrid card post their temps? If you could include what card do you have, oc'd or not and your room temp.

Getting mixed info from current hybrid threads. Lowest temp reported has been in the 60's and the highest in the 80's.

Thanks in advance.

I just installed mine before work this morning. So far I’m seeing a huge improvement. My card was thermal throttling at 100% power because it kept getting into the mid 80s under load. Now I have a decent over lock at 130% power and it’s sitting in the low 70s under load.

I think the main issue is that the chips vary so much in terms of thermal that it’s hard to expect similar temperatures accross yields. Overall I’m extremely happy. My timespy score jumped up to 15,387 and that’s after spending just 30 minutes messing with clock speeds this morning.

I got the 2080 Black Edition Gaming (08G-P4-2081-KR), and The highest temp I got while testing oc was 67. I'm idling at 30-32c, and i dont go over 60 if I have base clocks.

If you are happy with those temps thats cool. Personally I'm not too impressed about the cooling performance.

My 2070XC Ultra already hits 60°C max now, I can't find a good reason to buy this hybrid kit (unless cost was significantly less).

53c max after several TimeSpy runs. Only 110% power and a +60 core OC though. Boost will stay at 2030 while playing BFV.

Had to make some case airflow/mods to get this though, also running push/pull with Noctua fans. Prior to changes I was quickly hitting 65c from TimeSpy. This radiator is too small, you need really good airflow on it.

My CPU runs around 60c while gaming, and to the touch, the tubes and air from the hybrid feel significantly hotter than the CPU ones.

I have found in general if you set the GPU Power to only 124% on the XC the Temperatures Drop a good 6 Degrees Celsius.
I am Not seeing this big Drop on the XC ULTRA also this is under Air and with the Hybrid Copper Water Block installed.

This with the 2070 XC Ultra? I'm running 130% power, and +125/1000 overclock, averages around 2050mhz+ core in 3dMark.

    hy
i have the same card like u have...
with my H55+2x Vardar F3 i can reach the 71-73C in unigine valley.... starting from 65-67 and goes up to 71-73C.... in games are the same...when i set the v-sync less then 144Hz (120 or under) the temps of course goes down... stabile at 65-66C.... its fine.. i understand..

if i remove the original backplate+cover i have a massive FPS drop in any games... just standing in the menu aaaand the fps goes down so fast... OK. right. cooling is important for VRMs...

before the H55+G12 I used an Accelero Xtreme IV.... same temperatures like now i have with H55+Vardars... Iam so confused... i dont understand what is actually happening here right now...

case is OK i think. Haf932 AMD Edition + HAF X side panel (with fan)
H105 push-pull on the top of the case for CPU...
    PSU: RM750x

    PS.
before the 2080 i've had an ASUS Turbo 1070.. (with the ACE4)...

I'm thinking about getting a Hybrid kit for 2080 TI Black edition when I get my RMA replacement, would liquid metal TIM be an option with it?

NO. Do not use that stuff. Use a good non-conductive TIM like MX4.

I run a 2080ti Hybrid card and I usually Idle around 30-32C most days and when I play games like BO4 and BF5 etc I think max I hit is 55-57c.
    Pretty good in my opinion

Running 2080 ti FE with the hybrid kit. Overclock to +145 core/1000 memory, boost 2115 but settle down to around 2085. Idle around 30 to 32c and load temp with overclock max at 58c while playing BF5 and shadow tomb raider.

2080 Ti XC Ultra Hybrid here (Installed In a Mini ITX case Define Nano S) and max temps I'm getting Is 63c with a moderate overclock +145 core/500 mem In Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
I wonder why It's running hotter than my 1080Ti hybrid Is It a thermal paste Issue or Is It normal?
