I'm so disappointed right now. I went with EVGA FTW instead of ASUS Strix because I like how the side panel LED looks on the FTW cards. One of the refurbished cards EVGA sent me as part of my cross-ship RMA has extremely inconsistent brightness on the LEDs. The "E" on the EVGA logo on my top card looks extremely bright but the rest of the LED side panel section is extremely dim. This is a major eye sore on an otherwise perfect build. I'm really upset EVGA doesn't have better quality control. Don't even try to tell me I shouldn't be outraged because it's "just looks." Be warned, if you RMA, you might get a card back that works, but looks in terrible condition.

Honestly the top one looks more normal for these LEDs.

The bottom one looks more like a newer better version.

now that you say it... the E on mine looks a lot brighter than the rest of the lettering as well... on yours it's like 3 different colors, that really does look out of place, especially with the 2nd card looking perfect. For me it is just inconsistent brightness... not bad enough to get upset about it but... hmm... could be better for such an expensive card.

quality control really seems to be big issue for EVGA and the ACX 3.0 cooler.

I have a 1070 FTW, and the problem i have my RGB LEDs is that the color they emit is much different to what you see in the color palette in Precision X.
I keep asking if EVGA plan to solve this in Precision X or a vBIOS update, but seems to fall on deaf ears every-time and never get an answer on it.
