With my 210-GQ-1000W PSU, I have 6 VGA cables (and 6 vga sockets on the psu).
Two of them are 8 (6+2) pin cables, and I am using both of these to power my RTX2070.
But then there are also 4 further cables - these each have 2 x 8(6+2)-Pin PCI-E plugs at one end. (i.e. the same as the previous two cables, but with an extra 6+2 plug daisychained on the end).
Can someone please explain what they are for?
For example I assume I could use one of them as a third cable for a 3090 (the daisychained plug would be hanging loose, unused), but is it possible to actually use just a single one of these cables for TWO of the ports i.e. both daisy chained plugs, to power my 2070, or to power two of the three slots on a 3090?
Thanks for any explanations.
