Project
NIGRORIS
by Melampus

Hello everybody. In last year i was started build my new revison of LC. It's third presents of my watercoling, replacing old (still alive) revision Project Deep 2Undertow. You can find it in this forum and see it on YT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GnxmleHKFM

Now time to building new on. The main purpose of this project is to put all lc parts into case. I will change my old NZXT Lexa and bought TJ07 SilverStone. Yes i know this is most popular case, but for me most perfect to make lc. Second rules what i can reach by building this revision is "make something with my hands" (not only buying parts and put all into case). The third revision oblige ;)
Most people was changed setups on new one x58. I was decision to not do this. I keep my 775 lga and say "lga 775 is still alive". Yeah, why not?

Ok, let's to the point. This is start of this log. Nowdays i finish 70%, still there is a lot of work. I will change 2 loops into one, change 2 pumps on one much powerfull, new res and radiators. From new pc parts i changed my psu Modecom volcano 850 W into Enermax 85+ 1250 W and sleeving it. I still waiting (like most of you) when nvida put fermi to the shops. I will be updating my progress.
On the begining some fotos and shorts comments. I hope you have enjoyed and critique me ;)

New case TJ07. i was painted it myself on black mat.

One more TJ07's photo.

OLFA knife. I cut by this plexi. Really helpfull tool. I recomended it.

This is back wall of 5.25 drive bays. Bottom hole is preparing to Mc655 DC5 pump with Bitspower kit. I making big holes to use tuping and fittings with my new res. I will mounting 2 EK 170 res. Holes on left and right sides are made into screws.

All parts of this back wall drive bay was making from 3 mm plexi plates. There is no plexi pipes, everything is from plates. I was thermomade this material in my electric kitchen. Yes, yes. 150 celcius deegres and 4-6 minutes into electric baker. The plexi after that time and in this temperatur is thermoplastic and You can do with it what you imagine. You must only remember to do it fast. It something go wrong (not right form) don't worry, just put it on baker and plexi goes back to origin form.

I conected all parts by plexi glue COSMOFEN. This glue dry fast and made plexi surface. All small holes was hided by this glue and when it dry i've just settle surface by file. Really easy way. To connect some surfaces i used SuperGlue.

When everything was connected properly and surfaces are settled, it's time to painted. First i put background to made best conecting between paint and plexi. Here it is:

And another photo:

One of painting steps. This drive back panel and holder was painted by three different colors. Left and right sides was painted into black high gloos. The middle surfaces where the res will be holdiing, had black mate paint. Part around pump will be painting by silver chrome. In this pictures you can see left and right sides painted by high gloos. Everything else is taped and waiting on itself turn.
Another helpfull tool - scalpel.

You can also see screws. I was panted they into high gloos black. Some part of decoration.

Two res. EK 170 rev2 conecting by one. Yes i'm use them both! In back plane you can see holders. They will be painted into silver chrome.

Everyting was painted and mounted. Time to check it out. Still in progress. I put some tape to not scratch surfaces.

For now i must say goodbye. Check this thread if i interesting You. I will be updating as soon possible. The end is near, but like i write still there is a lot to do.

    Re:Project NIGRORIS - Build Log 2010/03/01 12:15:26 (permalink)
Here i am again. I'm glad to see that You interesting this thread. Today i cuted some plexi things to back of my case. Look at this.

Project is inspired by Bitspower. Don't be suprised that i used dragon logo.
Ok, i've just put the tape on plexi and cut with scalpec bitspower logo. Next step will be painting this into black mat. I will do that in free time after work. On the right screen You can see logo of this project. I will do exactly the same but it'll be placing on right side panel and hide all side of 5.25 drive bays, from bottom to the top case. Ofcourse i will lightining logo dragon, and logo NIGRORIS. Cables light helps me with this. You can also see a frame to mounting light and dragon logo plexi plate.

    One more near picture.

Here it's the "heart" of my new revision. MC655 weared in Bitspower kit. I was sleeved cables. Isn't looks nice?

Veins. Primochill PrimoFlex PRO LRT Tubing 1/2""ID 3/4" OD Clear. 10 feets it's to enough to cool all parts ? I hope;)

And the end i have someting special. My new "BIG DADDY" with all presence. I've just write about it up in this thread.
Enermax REVOLUTION 1250 W. I spent loot of time to sleeved it. There are only sata cables without sleeving for now, but it will be changing soon. I must take some breath (work, home, work etc.). You know...

One more near "BIG DADDY'S" picture. Sexy sleeved monster.

See you and wait for uptade.
Best regards to all of You Modders
