Hi EVGA master , i just got evga 3 sli classifield from my friend. but unhappy thing just happen when i finish my rig, here is the specification : 1. motherboard : evga 3 sli classifield 760 2. memory : Gskill 3 x 2 GB 16000 3. powersupply : corsair 750 watt 4. vga : zotac 260amp x 1 5. processor : i7 930 then problem is , i can't using triple channel system , the system always reboot few minutes after start in. but i found no problem if i put the ram on first three line. note : triple channel ram slot is = 1 , 3 , 5 = problem slot i am using right now = 1 , 2 , 3 ( no problem ) is there anything i need to run my system with triple channel ? what is the real problem with my system ( memory or motherboard ) ? i am not a good overclocker so the system is running default. is there any great guys can help me out ?

Make sure you are using only the red slots. Those are 1,3,5. The black ones are 2,4,6. I know that seems weird. Does it make it to windows? Or does it reboot right after POST?

What are the voltage, clock speed and timing specifications for your RAM? What do you have it running at? NOTE -- the board WILL NOT automatically enter the correct settings for the RAM. At the very least you need to enable the XMP profile yourself to get the correct ram speed, voltages and timings. I recommend not using XMP and simply entering them in manually. Make sure your VTT volts are within .5 volts of your RAM volts. I'm not 100 sure if XMP does that. Default VTT for many BIOSes is 1.1 and default Dimm voltage is often 1.65. That difference is greater than .5. BIG PROBLEM. Make sure it's right.

Here is my template cpu clock ratio = 20 cpu host frequency = 191 mch strap = auto cpu uncore frequency = x17 cu clock skew = 0ps spread spectrum = disable pci frequency = 100 memory speed = xmp profile 1 memory control setting = enable memory frequency = auto channel interleave setting = 6 way rank interleave setting = 4 way memory low gap = auto tcl setting = auto trcd setting = auto trp setting = auto tras setting = 24 trfc setting = 78 command rate = 1t evga vdroop control = with vdoop cpu vcore = 1.2 cpu vtt voltage = +100 cpu pl lvcore = 1.650 dimm voltage = 1.5 dimm dq vrev = +0mV qpi pll vcore = 1.15 ioh vcore = auto ioh/ich = auto ich vcore = 1.1 pwm frequency = 800 @CPSUSIE = is there anything wrong with this setting. i just want to run my system with triple channel " ENABLE " @MDSWISH = Yeah i think i have put them on the red slots , it make it to windows but reboot after half hour Note : memtest found no error if i put them on 1 , 2 ,3 slot memtest found error if i put them on 1 , 3 , 5 slot ( triple channel slot )

change memory speed = xmp profile 1 to standard, Change memory frequency = auto to 2:8 Change cpu uncore frequency = x17 to 16X Change dimm voltage = 1.5 to 1.65 Change these : tcl setting = auto trcd setting = auto trp setting = auto to the speeds writen on your mem, Probably 8,8,8 or 9,9,9, that will put your memory at 1528, it would be 1600 if you can work your clock to 200, but the additional Vtt and CPUV might not be worth it, you would need to check your temps using LinX to find out. Also if you get a freez, or BSOD 124 add another +50 Vtt and try again

Set the memory up manually. 1.65 Dimm volts, 2:8 ratio, and whatever it says on the sticks for timings (8-8-8-24 example) Also,1.2 v-core might be too low for 3.8.

Put 1 stick at a time in slot 1 and run Memtest 86+ to see if any stick fails, at it's rated speed, if so it's mem RMA time, if not you could have a bad slot, and if so it would still be RMA time, ( MB ) EVGA's 24/7 tech support line is 1888-880-EVGA. also note if your CPU is not making good conection , on all pins, that can also cause memory problems as your IMC is on your CPU,
