Am I missing something how in the world do I access the settings menu? Windows 8.1 Pro x64 with a 4K screen.

The strange looking left and right arrows made of tiny yellow squares.... allow you to flip between 3 global menus (GPU settings, Graph, and PrecixionX Settings). On the Settings menu, once you click a Settings category, those same arrows can be used to flip through the settings screens. It's horribly unintuitive, and is a huge step back from a simple tabbed settings dialog like PrecisionX v4.2.1 had. :(

Well it looks like it was operator error on my part. I believe I had the card overvoltaged and it was down clocking. So, disregard my prior comment and keep up the good work.

Some feedback on this version, hopefully this helps. Memory leaks is the biggest issue with this build that i ran into. overclocking and upping the voltage works on both of my 780 tis and does keep stable but first card randomly starts to drop a clock back to stock after an hour or 2 of games. This causes microstutter and fps drops. Further after exiting the game the bug persists in all games till restarting the pc. Some games like League of Legends lock up in the client, with some graphics missing. Could be caused by the memory leak, not sure. Oh and both cards are on water with stress tests peaking at 48C so temps can't be an issue.
More description on the memory leak i posted in the memory leak thread. Simply switching from one card to the other causes memory to rise. I switched back and forth between cards and memory kept growing higher and higher.

But in the end, the solution is to copy a single file to the font folder. Regardless of how huge the underlying trust issue is, the solution is very simple.
I think what's more pertinent than the trust issue is the fact that usually when a program is brought to a release status (passes alpha and beta testing) bugs that would effect system files and system stability are usually weeded out. So while I don't expect a piece of software to be perfect on release, I would expect that enough Q and A has been done at this point that overall system stability and other aspects of the OS not be affected by bugs especially when those bugs were fixed in previous revisions. I'd personally advocate that Precision X be put through a much longer testing cycle before the next revision. While I can appreciate the solution to the issue might be simple I can tell you from my experience in IT support that many users would have no idea why their system fonts suddenly look off or that Precision X was the cause of it. More tech savvy people might draw the conclusion that they installed Precision X and then fonts went wacky, but you have to admit there is no obvious correlation between a piece of software overclocking your video card and your fonts in Google Chrome.

the server wen you add an exe file wont save on a re boot comp . Hi bug to look at i added the vlc-chache-gen /vlc.exe.manifest /vlc.exe files to your server wen the osd is turned on . wen i hit the restart buttion on the comp i have to re do this function to get my vlc to play off a out side hard drive also adding the other vlc exe let me disconect the hard drive after in windows vrs getting the m soft somthing is using this program you cant close it down . vlc works thoe 3 version back to the current one with adding the exe files . thoe can some one explain how i can save the server info so i dont have to keep repeating hiting the add buttion an forcing the server to remember ? also found a counter stike bug it would seem same thing i needed to add the hl.2exe files. another / about that later thoe just want to get the server to reamber what i put on it to keep up with my testing this futher . thanks :D

found the problem . I had the monitoring/log history to file buttion not checked .Can we get a pdf or better explenation on the functions . the server an adding stuff to it was kinda new for me as I never had to add stuff in the other old versions :) its kinda new wen you crash out of a program due to a non added exe file added to the server . reamber im derping my way thru this with a blank stair craving brains. making it derp proff would be nice
an to think they let me dive a car an own stuff :D

When running and up on 1st or 2nd monitor, and a fan curve active, I ran GPU-Z Render test (to get the card working) during this test after 10-30secs of moving the window of GPU-Z around, artifacting and trailing start happening until it froze the entire screen after moving window around. This same thing I guess is happening inside Dota 2 from Steam, after a few seconds of moving mouse over the top tabs in-game (play, watch, store) everything stopped and froze, sounds still heard in background. When PrecisionX16 is closed, the entire issue is gone, 2nd monitor on or not. This + nvidia driver rollbacks of 5 different versions leave me to believe it is indeed PrecisionX16 5.2.3 causing this freezing issue. Now weather im the only one or not i have no clue but this is happening to me and you guys should know about it :) i want to help, I guess I will report in a thread over at Software forums for this directly to see if any other people have this problem. My post from a 780-problem-thread over at 700 series section. Indeed a freezing bug issue with PrecisionX16 5.2.3

WOW this version is awful. I can't believe what you guys did to the settings, who though that was a good idea??? Like half of what I want this software to do is show me the GPU temperature in the system tray and now that's a disaster. The font you guys use for that is awful, please give me the option to change it. And then when I click the arrow for more icons in the system tray, the temperature icon disappears? I had to restart the software for it to show up again and when it did it was set back to power by default? Clicking it no longer gives me the settings menu which is now buried under a bunch of tiny buttons. I must be doing all of this wrong because no one would release an update like this, right? Going back to the previous release which was fine.

Well not sure what is causing my issue, but my FPS is usually around 70-105 FPS on BF4. For some reason with Precision X my FPS will drop all of a sudden to 60 and sometimes 50 FPS. I have tried Afterburner and PX 4.2.1 to see if this happens with these and they do not. Not sure if anybody else is having this issue, but wanted to bring it up.

"OSD" is On-Screen Display. Hotkey is the keyboard key you can assign to turn on and off the OSD remotely.

What a load of CRAP! All I get is frames data? (Deleted for foul language) is happening to EVGA guess we have to start using another software that does the job right. This one just went insect on us BUG! The keys don't work and we cant get full data on the GPU, I feel like everyone in here lab rats were lab rats...

i can not click on fps show in monitor for OSD with 5.2.3, it worked pefectly fine on previous version. is this a known issue being worked on?

Everyone I got s solution for this, go to control panel and uninstall this mess use IOBIT uninstall so you dont suffer no more. Download Afterburner by MSI and follow up to install Riva tuner. And follow up you should all be able to customize what to display on the screen.

The "fix" for PrecisionX is not to install some other program. This thread is about getting feedback for PrecisionX 16 v5.2.3, and making it work better. If you must troll, please do so elsewhere.

Jacob, we the people can't fix it and I am not trolling its called facts. This problem with EVGA precision can only be corrected by the software engineer department of EVGA. There is nothing I you they can do, they are monitoring this thread. I own many EVGA products why you think I posted that?
I am 33 years old trolling is for teens I dont have time to play lab rats with EVGA they have to fix this with an update.
Thats Like me owning a toyota highlander, and I am traveling 90 miles per hour but by dash board dont say how fast I go. But your here to say hey Blas dont troll at Toyota. If I spend money on TOYOTA they "HAVE TO FIX IT"other wise there are other brands.

You remember not too long ago there was an EVGA precision that was glitched with frames per seconds? We all went nuts over the BF3 weekend and my clan was freaking out. We pay close attention to our cards and how they perform since we do sli or have top grade cards. Long story short more bugs came out to the light, we tried everything but got nothing.
Long story short the software developer team notice the complains and suggestion of removals of their software. Guess what by the end of the week there was an update that fixed all the issues.
I invest on my computer to be a gaming machine and graphics design machine, all digital software showing me the performance of my graphic cards. You can program that with any other GPU reader and Riva. I can't take a chance with a rushed released beta that is not fully functional, that is why they have Beta testers.
We the public are not beta testers because if I am then were is my check? Were is your check? And everyone else's?

Why do you have to re add the exes you want to exclude from the OSD in the Server application every time you restart? Annoying!

Sometimes, when PrecisionX is closed and reopened, it does not remember the "Auto" setting for each of my 3 GPUs. This leaves the fans at their values when PrecisionX was last closed, sometimes at minimum fan even. Since I run distributed computing on my GPUs, this is very very bad, because they become set to that minimum fan value, and my GPUs bake at 100*C until that I've been bitten by your bug. It's nasty. Please look into the code that makes sure the "Auto" fan setting is kept and applied. It's not always working correctly for my 3-GPU system (GTX 660 Ti, GTX 660 Ti, GTX 460). The triggering behavior may be that I sign of out Windows, then sign back in, sometimes. Thanks, Jacob

When the program is running my screen while playing League of Legends gets frozen after a minute or two but I can still interact with the game and I do hear sounds of the things happening. It doesn't happen on other games and it may be because of that I'm playing LoL on borderless and not on fullscreen like other games.
I had the same problem with the earlier version. Close GeForce Experience, fixes it.

Where did the over volting go ?
I distinctly remember I could over volt my card higher than normal on the last update just before it got pulled.

What is the version before this? I have a feeling I may be have to give Afterburner another go as you're new settings are a fiddly waste of time :( OMG, even the overclocking is a struggle, you got a manual for this :/ Sod it, so long EVGA Precision
