Afterburner for me. Precision X1 needs a lot of work.

Afterburner is better for now (other than Scan not working on 3080 for me yet, but manual OC is better anyway); hopefully they improve upon X1.

I honestly wish they would break out the LED controls as a separate program. X1 is a mess, I'd rather use Afterburner for OC control but really don't want both programs running.

I use Afterburner because of the far superior OSD. Otherwise Precision does have some EVGA specific features that are nice. When it comes to max overclock it's a toss up truly. The Big Ones like Gamers Nexus have varied opinions and sometimes switch between the two depending on what they're doing.
If Precision had an OSD as good or better than Afterburner I would use Precision. It's literally only the OSD that keeps me on Afterburner.

I tried XC1 and wanted to use/like it, but...sorry it's garbage and full of bugs and random stuff that just doesn't work.

I agree. I just launch Precision just for LED control, set a static color, then close it

I love EVGA, I really do. But they need to fire their software people handling PX1. It's horrendous.

I don't know to be fair, but doesn't P1 control the fans better than MSI does? as MSI Afterburner can't control all 3? Or I'm wrong?

Afterburner still will not control all three fans on the FTW3 right?

I’m curious as to whether AB can control the 3 fans as well.

New version of precision came out and the fan controls were fixed. Everything is working as it should now.

My card is coming on Monday. Just curious if you can install Precision just to turn off the LED completely and then uninstall it? Will the LED stay off, like is that setting saved on the card? I don't want any LED at all and just want to use Afterburner like I always have.

I could try all three tutorials for oc with my 3090 Asus Strix.
Asus Gpu Tewak II is garbage in the sense that it does not apply settings on video memories.
Afterburner works very well but does not have control of individual fans and led management
Evga Precision X1 has the only problem that in my Gpu model it does not display the correct fan speed. Bios default 54%, in PX1 is shown and go to 32%. Probably because it is made for Evga cards.
I definitely use and recommend Afterburner that works correctly except the Leds in my case

PX1 is working well here, but I would like AB to work too. I think the latest Nvidia driver is the issue. Can't get AB to address the fans correctly. Not concerned with individual control.

MSI Afterburner for undervolting. But in all seriousness I've had better luck with Afterburner for overclocking.

Yes your correct, px1 is the only one that will controll all fans as intended.

Because of the current state of Precision, another vote for Afterburner.
