I would actually use Precision X1 if the OSD could compete with MSI Afterburner.

I love EVGA and want to use their software. But the OSD feature set and usability just doesn't compare.

If there is something I'm missing to get all the options for what can I show with the OSD then please fill me in.

It's kinds frustrating that EVGA Precision has come so far. But still lacking on the OSD features.

In the top of HWM, you'll see numbers corresponding to the number of your physical processor cores (6 in my case as shown in the attachment below)..Under number 1 (click it) you'll have a list of things cat can be shown in OSD, Keyboard LCD or System Tray (near clock)..You select what you want to show and it will be added to the graph below..Then you click OSD to enable that item in the graph to be shown on-screen..Under the other numbers are just the core tempeature of that core number.

What you see is what you get.

Hmm, I just saw your reply now.

I will look into that and hopefully that works.

Which leaves the tray icons also not being as flexible as MSI Afterburner.

I would use Precision X1 if it could keep up with Afterburner when it come to these features and usability of the features.

I can only get the proper OSD function from Afterburner. XOC & X1 do not even show up with half of my games and do not offer the same kind of customization Afterburner does even when they do.

The problem then becomes Afterburner cannot control all three of my EVGA GPU fans with a custom curve. Only the main GPU fan will follow the custom curve while the other two can only be manually set to a constant speed.

So because EVGA's OSD options pretty much suck in comparison I have to run both programs to get the options I want for both scenarios.

so EVGA is doing nothing to upgrade/fix their OSD problems? there is a huge list of games that the OSD does not work with and I have seen no upgrade in the software that fixes these issues or add more options in the configuration of this OSD.

I use ASUS software for the OSD because I cannot get the Precision X's OSD to move down in my game or change the font size. In the ASUS software you just drag the osd to where you want it to appear and you are done. Precision X is so clunky. Like dealing with software from 1990. It might be "built" from the ground up, but it needs to be built again. Also don't get me started on the Over clocking scan. If it does not crash it runs forever. I have never gotten it to finish without crashing or freezing. Try again EVGA, Precision X sucks.
