First, make sure you buy a 60 Hz, 120 Volt US power supply which will work on Argentina's 50 Hz, 220 Volt power system.  Otherwise, the whole exercise would be pointless.

From there, it is a simple matter of obtaining a power supply cable which is properly rated for a 220 Volt power system and one which has the proper receptacle end.  The plug at the power supply side is very standardized, but there are some power supplies which break the rules.  If you buy a power supply with a "C14" style plug receptacle, you should have no problem finding a power supply cable which will fit in Argentina and which is rated for 220 Volts.

    C14 Receptacle:

    C13 Plug:

You COULD use a 120 Volt US power supply cable and just throw an adapter on the end to make it fit Argentina's wall socket, but that method is a little more hazardous since those adapters are not always very high quality nor reliable and the 120 Volt cable insulation might not be rated for 220 Volts RMS' peak of 310 Volts.

You should be able to buy the proper AC input cable at just about any place that PC parts and accesories are sold in Argentina and they shouldn't cost very much (around 10 USD or so)..The end that goes in the PSU is industry-standard worldwide, as shown above in post #2.

You need to look at the label (see attachment) on your PSU and make sure it supports the input voltage..Most all PSUs will auto-detect the input voltage and auto-switch to using it..There are some PSUs that do have a voltage selector switch near where the cable plugs in though and needs to be set in the proper position before plugging it in.

See What is the rating for my PSU wall cable? for more information on AC input cables.

That's not really necessary, but should probably work..I would just buy the proper AC input cable in Agentina that plugs directly into the wall..You'll probably find them in lots of places, like a mall or supermarket..Up to you.

A 750W G3 will auto-detect the input voltage and auto-switch to using it, as you know..No problemo.

Do NOT buy that!  You don't need a step-down converter.  A step-down converter would only add another layer of inefficiency and increased odds of failure.  Plus, those converters usually create atrocious ripple output and unstable voltage output as the load rises and falls.  The power supply will be able to perform the conversion much better.

All you need is a cord with the Argentina receptacle end.  Argentina uses either type C or type I.

    Type C:

    Type I:

Get either the Type C or Type I receptacle (depending on which one you use in your Argentina location) with a C13 plug on the other end.

    For example:
    https://www.amazon.com/CNE40513-European-Computer-Europlug-Approved/dp/B00IPZC26C

    or
    https://www.amazon.com/SF-Cable-Australia-Power-Cord/dp/B006W0IBXA

EDIT:  I agree with Bob.  Just buy the correct cord once you get to Argentina.  You should find the correct one there, easily.

I would also think a battery backup couldn’t hurt. Depending on the area the power can very greatly.

Not a bad idea at all there..An Uninterruptable Power Supply..Lots of UPS calculators around, like here.

A local PC repair shop in Argentina should carry the cable you need. I would definitely get a UPS as recommended above.

Just like a PSU and many other things, look for a sticker or printing on the back of the monitor that says the input voltage range..Mine says 100-240 volts, as most do.

Then you'll need that thing from Amazon or something similar to it.

That Step Down 220V to 110V Voltage Converter (and the proper wall cable or adapter) you were talking about will be fine for the monitor.
