We borrowed a 3,750 watt generator just to keep the freezer and fridge from thawing. We purchased a monster generator so next time we can relax. My back is still messed up and in pain yada yada blah blah. I am starting to doubt it will get better. You guys are coming up with some great badges!!   There it is! 4 titanium plates and 8 screws. The vertebra on the far right illustrates the definition of bone spur (spurring)

Will you be willing to take time to experiment with edits to config file in order to see how fast an optimized Collatz can truly run on a new graphics architecture? If yes, locate the config file, by default in directory: C:\ProgramData\BOINC\projects\boinc.thesonntags.com_collatz The config file is named something like: collatz_sieve_1.30_windows_x86_64__opencl_nvidia_gpu.config Open file with text editor like Notepad. Paste the following: verbose=1
kernels_per_reduction=128
threads=6
lut_size=19
sieve_size=30
For an explanation of the settings, see AnandTech Forums. Save file, suspend Collatz project, and Resume to apply new settings. The new settings will reduce credits per task, but will decrease the time by a larger amount, resulting in an overall gain in credits per second. The setting I think needs experimentation is `threads`. Try each setting, from 6, going up by 1, up to 11, by running a few tasks and noting the average credits per second. Please reply with your findings, or share them on the message boards, in this thread.

Not bad for a basic founders edition RTX 2080.
That was my goal but I'm not sure what to move on to if anything. Guess i will let it run while I think about it and test a few projects out. I am leaning towards GPU Grid but they have issues of running out of work and the last time I checked the RTX GPU's did not work on that project.
