This is far from believeable on a 650ti boost. That score is right up there with the 670/680's and 7 series cards. You need to run the test and actually take a picture of the end benchmark result.

So this is my latest test result. I am currently in the works of tweaking some more settings and hoping to get a bit better score. I have kind of hit my wall though with a +71 on the core and can't even do +72 without the benchmark crashing.

Yeah a single 650ti would never score anywhere near a 54/55fps.....I doubt 3 x 650ti's would even hit 54 fps to be honest. @$139.00 the 650ti might hit like 25fps-31fps with Extreme HD setting.

In SLI it very well seems possible but that setup must have been overclocked as hell. But I apologize, when I saw the score, I didn't look at the setup correctly and saw that it was an (x2) setup.

What was your 670 score? Looking at the list, you were in the 2100 range I believe. My latest score with my 770 Classy was 2300 and I still have a few settings to tweak. I want to say that I could probably score higher if my build was Intel and not this AMD FX8350

so a single GTX 650 TI performs about the same as my single GTX 570, and 2 x GTX 650 TI in SLI peform a little better then my single GTX 770, I don't see anything wrong here, it sounds about right to me.

The only reason this argument started was cause speedlimit forgot to say 2 x 650ti superclocked boost in his original post near the top, it was missed down below in the system section

Considering the 770 is just a revamped 680, which looking at this list scored a 2307, i'd say yes, a 770 is enough comparison. Also, the memory modules meng, not as good as before. As I said, I got a semi-bad 80% ASIC quality card.

Not bad for the o-so old V1.0 GTX460 SC (768Mb) in SLI if I might say... What killed it was the 4 rain scenes, where I clearly had not enough memory to process it :s
I also managed to run it on the (broken) GTX660 in my system. Had 1250 score then.

Also worth to note that when I look at the GTX650Ti BOOST, these 2 old cards aren't doing so bad either :D

I use to run 2 x 768MB GTX 460 in SLI, they didn't last cause of the vram lol, not making that mistake again.

now I'm just useing one of them for a dedicated PhysX card to go along with my GTX 770 for games like Metro, Borderlands 2, Mafia II, etc

Getting closer to my single 670 FTW score _Nite_. If you get closer I may have to re-bench at 5.3ghz

Thats as close as I will get until I decide to overclock my 770 manually, so don't worry

Besides its not a fair comparison, cause that score is with nvidia control panel set to high performance not quality like you did.

Also don't bother overclocking your cpu higher, cause my 2600K @ 4.2Ghz and 2500K @ 3.7Ghz still give me the same exact score when running Quality in the control panel, Valley is a GPU Heavy benchmark, not CPU.

Not scared, just have no need to for the games and resolution that I play.

What would be the best physx card to go with SLI 670SC 4gb?

any good performing midrange card that doesn't run hot, the GTX 460 was the perfect match to go along with my GTX 770 cause it runs about 5 - 6C cooler

This is important so your main gaming card doesn't run hotter from the heat coming from the PhysX card.

The Valley benchmark doesn't use PhysX btw, Here is a list of PhysX Games

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_games_with_hardware-accelerated_PhysX_support

I saw a big difference in performance with my 460 as physX in games such as Mafia II, Metro Last Light, Borderlands 2, Rise of The Triad (2013), etc

It does not matter if your primary card runs hotter than your physx card.......or vice versa.........just get another 670 SC 4gb if you can find one, Newegg discontinued sales on the 670 SC/FTW  few weeks ago. You could probably find one used though.

 NoQuarter -------- GTX 780 SC w/ACX(x2)------------ 5110
The funny thing is, I was upset with my temps and was seriously thinking of RMA the cards. So I benched my cards and when I saw my numbers were higher than some guys with theirs overclocked, I was like, hrmm let me try overclocking evga precision. And got this, not to bad for a first timer. I don't think i'll RMA them, but I may sell them or something, if temps act up again. got a corsair 600 case, guess I need to invest in some new fans or something. Only way I can keep them under 80 is to usually run fans at 90+ percent. And that is a lot of noise.

got that after reading about the tweak on previous page with control panel settings, didn't do power thing though...

Nice score Noquarter!
I've never liked axial cooled gpus, expelling hot air into the case just doesn't seem smart to me. The radial coolers tend to be a hair noisier, but totally worth the temps. Hottest either of my cards get in more demanding games like Metro LL/Crysis 3/Tomb Raider  is 62-64C, haven't seen the fans go above 75% to date.

I would say GT 640 for PhysX.  Low power draw, low heat, and REALLY good performance.  Saw some really extensive tests on it a while ago and the 640 was keeping up with a 580 as a PhysX card.  That is what I would get for a PhysX card if I was buying one.

thanks seanEjohan, yah, I actually put a fan near my computer and it's helped some. At first Rome 2 shot one cars up to 80c, that's how i found about about heat problem. Now with fall/winter approaching, I may not worry about till spring. I do have a gtx 580 I thought about using for PhysX card, but I don't think my corsair ax850 could handle it :(
I got a new score after installing valley on ssd raid and overclocking cpu.

I've read i could use something besides precisionX and flash bios and get even better results, but frankly I'm scared of messing something up with the small knowledge of OC'ing I have.
