So I just installed the bios update for my 1080 SC and it seems that have hurt the performance of my card somehow. Before i was able to maintain 60FPS with zero issues in any game, but now i can barely muster a constant frame rate with it dipping and fluctuating between 60 and 34. The only change from earlier today (when i had no issues) and now is the bios update. Did anyone else have similar issues?

Intel i7 6700K 4.0Ghz
Crucial Ballistix 2400mhz 16gb

Hello - this might help you.
go to your nvidia control panel, and make sure that the section I have highlighted is set to maximum power.

it is possible that the evga bios turned that to default - also ALWAYS do a clean driver install after a bios flash.
    good luck

So i don't know if that would have fixed it, but a complete reinstall of windows did. (I was needing to do it anyway due to motherboard and processor brand change)
