That's brutal. Let us know if there's any good news, eh? Although I'm still 15 minutes away (and therefore a couple months further down), I have a fear that I'll miss the email due to working long nights programming to reach milestones and constantly messing up my sleep schedule.
 
By the way guys, always check your notification times in the My Notifies page - look around the site's navbar, it's in there. If you just look at your email, you'll only see the hour & minute. You need to report seconds as well for precision, as the existing list has lots of people sharing the same minute. Every second counts when supplies are so limited.

My 3080 ti FTW3 will be coming in today, planning on doing my GPU swap tonight!
 
I'm coming from a 3080 XC3 Ultra to the 3080 ti FTW3 (was in step up for a 3080 FTW3, just went with whichever FTW3 came first, 3080 or 3080 ti), and will be reselling the 3080 to a friend so they don't have to buy one at scalped prices (I got the 3080 in Dec. from Best Buy at MSRP). Since going from an Nvidia GPU to another Nvidia GPU, and both being recent cards, any reason I shouldn't be able to just power off and swap them out? I know uninstalling drivers should usually be used for going from AMD to Nvidia or vice-versa, or if going from an older card to a new one.
 
Just curious on the easiest & most efficient way to get the swap done correctly. Those who got their 3080 ti's, did you just swap easily or offload drivers first?

Depends on what driver version you have. If it supports the 3080 Ti, then no worries about the driver. You should install Precision X1 and run it to update the 3080 Ti bios and set the LED color of the card to your desired choice. Just make sure you have Fast Boot and CSM turned off before updating the bios.

Gotcha. I think so, there was a driver update I did through Geforce Now after the ti launch, and I could swear it was the support for that. I already got X1 and use it for my 3080 XC3 OC & fan curve. I'm also thinking about wiping Precision X1 and all it's data and doing a clean install of it to reset the stored OC profiles. New card, new overclocks!
