I'm actually going to end up passing on my step up, I think. It's quite expensive from Canada, as I've learned. Roughly comes out to about $1100 USD total for the 3070 ti FTW 3 from a 3060 due to shipping and non-full currency conversion credit. It's more expensive than scalpers are selling 3070s for right now on FB here. Also no elite or associate's code.

I'm inclined to disagree. Lets take a look at the price, roughly, for comparison:
 
It's $799.99 USD. Last thing I ordered had $30 USD shipping to canada, so I'm going to assume that but it being a bit more doesn't affect my overall point here. On top of that, there's a $120~ import fee. xe.com is an exchange rate website I've been using for years. Really good website to check exchange rates on and can give a decent estimate.
 
799.99 + 30 = 829.99
829.99 USD to CAD from xe is $1,034.95 CAD
1,034.95 + 120 = $1154.95 CAD without any discount codes
 
At a quick glance on ebay, current prices for EVGA 3070 Ti FTW3 ULTRA are ranging anywhere from $1369.55 + $55 shipping to $1866.33 + + $65 shipping. Canadian prices mind you.
I fail to see how the scalpers are selling it cheaper than EVGA. Yes, I agree, its expensive, but the alternative is selling it for a lot more. Maybe see if a friend wants the card and wants to pay for it?

Editing this for discount code math, which hopefully is correct:
Assuming 8%(5% from a code given to you for registering a product, and 3% associate code)

(799.99 / 1.08) + 30 = $770.73 USD
$770.73 USD to CAD = $961.16 CAD
$961.16 CAD + $120~ import fee = $1,081.16 CAD
 
If you don't have a discount code, but use associate code:
 
(799.99 / 1.03) + 30 = $806.69 USD
$806.69 USD to CAD = $1,006.01 CAD
$1,006.01 CAD + $120~ import fee = $1,126.01 CAD

Discount codes help a fair amount, but even on the worst case you're looking at several hundreds less and a guaranteed unused card delivered.

I'd deftinely check the price to step up to a 3070 or 3060ti as they are much better bang for the buck then the ftw 3 3070ti
