Phanteks released today the new Universal Fan Controller, a simple solution to controlling all your fans with a single device. A new design for added functionality and expandability for all fans. The controller can connect up to 8x fans or more and control both 3pin (DC) and 4pin (PWM) fans simultaneously. Fully take control of your fan setup using manual remote with three speed settings, Silent, Balanced, and Performance. The Universal Fan Controller can also be connected and sync to the motherboard with the provided input cable.

    Ok so after looking around, I finally found more spec info.  Not bad for a controller powered by SATA power and giving you options on feedback control and for what the asking price is. 

    It's not clear to me at least about what each PWM channel can handle but if I had to guess based on their wording I'd say it's 1A per channel and 4A total max combined across the whole hub.
     


    Again not bad at all for the price point because there are other controllers out there that cost more but come with finicky software.  This is set and forget or using 3rd party software of your choice with controls from the MB's CPU PWM header to signal the rest.
