OK - I'll give this a shot. I'm no guru on overclocking, but have my E8400 on my 730i OC'd to 3.2 Ghz with no problem.

I just performed a conservative OC - without adjusting memory timings in the bios (just left it on "Optimal").

This is how I did mine in bios:

Go to Freqeuncy/Voltage Control > FSB & Memory Config> FSB - Memory Clock Mode & change setting  to "unlinked"
Leave the FSB  - Memory Ratio setting on "Auto".
Increase the FSB (QDR) to OC your Q8200.  As you increase this value to overclock your CPU, the MEM (DDR) will change accordingly since the FSB – Mem Ratio is set to "auto".
If you set the FSB too high the bios will reset when you boot up & you can re-adjust your settings accordingly.

Be sure to keep an eye on your CPU core temps. These Intels can take a moderate OC with only a small increase in running temp, but I wouldn't rely on having the stock Intel cooler.

Anyone more knowledgeable on this subject is welcome to correct the info on my reply!
