Thanks. I am getting tired of waiting for EKWB to produce an active backplate for the FTW3. I might just pickup an optimus block.

The optimus backplate is really good because of the thermal pad that covers the entire PCB. Costs would likely be about the same between the two once you buy the active backplate. Optimus is definitely better performance in general. I've had both. Be prepared to wait at least 6 weeks for your block though.

Just cpu and gpu. Each have there own loop on a quad rad

Super excited to finish this build now.




Finally got my system up and running with an Optimus block.  This thing is a cooling beast!  Tops out in the low 40c range at 2100mhz after an hour under full load.
