Maybe a future with Intel is in the cards? They're already boasting a better performing and cheaper alternative to the 3060ti. Be a shame to break up with millions of loyal GPU customers that want nothing other than EVGA for their above all customer service and warranty options. You guys murdered the scene with the 30 series design, always in a different league. I will forever be an EVGA customer for as long as you continue to push out great products and even better customer service.

These are dark times. I'm sorry it had to come to this EVGA. I've only ever owned EVGA GPUs, I don't know what I'm going to do now. When I'm able to build out a new machine, I hope to still be able to get my hands on one of your cards.

To be honest the last graphics card I bought was an EVGA GTX 760. I just can't justify spending the amount that current cards cost.

EVGA will not carry the next generation graphics cards.

Ballsy move. I get it. Sometimes businesses need to make really tough decisions, and as some articles have said, this wasn't that tough a decision based on NVIDIA's attitude toward EVGA and other partners. No doubt there will be a challenging adjustment period. I'm going to miss your graphics cards.

That said, you guys make great stuff. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next and buying more of your products.

Deleting GPU forums is so disrespectful to all members that over couple decades add so much knowledge, expertise, troubleshooting, etc..
This lunatic move burned to the ground everything that EVGA as company represented.

Such a shame.

We're a little boggled by suggestions from a few people that we've deleted GPU subforums and/or posts.  If you can offer something we can look into, I'm happy to have our team take a look, but none of us here understand where this idea came from.  Over time, we've condensed and merged sections to reflect the majority of GPU customer groups based on what cards are being used at the time, but we don't delete posts or threads, unless there's a TOS violation.

I posted this over in the post count thread, which may be relevant:

EVGATech_LeeM
[...]
Jacob edited the name of one of the Graphics Card sections recently, but didn't delete any sections, which is what some of you might have mistaken for removing sections.  As a general rule, we merge posts into a different subforum before removing the doomed subforum.  We haven't removed any sections since around the time of the last great subforum shakeup (which was quite some time ago).

Edit - slight edits for clarity and formatting.

Dang dude. This hits in the gut. EVGA has been such a STAPLE in product quality and integrity in honoring their warranties since I first started purchasing their cards...

Much love to the teams that made so many millions of gaming hours combined possible via your products!

I am with you there. Still uncertain whether I will even buy a 40xx card. In any event I am certainly in no rush to replace my 3090 FTW3 Ultra.

Thank you EVGA for all the years of suppling excellent video cards and services like the step up program and the queue system (during our time of crisis). Excellent customer service right there!! I respect your decision, will miss your GPU's, and look forward to seeing what new products you come out with.

RIP video card business!

I was keeping an eye on the EVGA stock of 3090 Ti FTW3 Ultra when the price had dropped to 1099 USD. Took a look this morning and it has been jacked back up to 2100 USD.  I have a 3090 FTW3 Ultra and really probably do not need it anyway which is why I had not grabbed one already but makes me wonder why the price got jacked way back up... That is like 4090 level pricing.

Damn, I was just looking at the cards yesterday and yeah. Seems all of the cards shot back up in prices on EVGA's site. Really a bummer.

If not, someone lost his mind when priced 3090Ti $600 more than much faster 4090.

I agree, the prices are back to absurd levels. I guess MSI or ASUS it is once I get my old vehicle sold. Been without a GPU for like 2 years now and been sharing PC with my girlfriend. Not everyone makes as much money as they can justify the prices these freaking people ask for their products. Blame inflation, blame crypto... Doesn't matter, I make decent money to just be able to afford to live and 2000 dollars for a GPU just doesn't fit into my financial situation. Especially when they were literally $1000 cheaper yesterday.

Re: Official Message from EVGA Management 2022/10/18 07:37:30 (permalink)
I mean, honestly, I really feel cheated by EVGA. When my 1070ti killed, the 30 series launch was just a couple weeks away, which I had been waiting for. And I was actually told by EVGA via phone that they would need a new shipment of 1070ti's and it would be a couple weeks wait. If I wanted a 30 series like we were talking about, just wait because it's price to performance ratio was insane. Then they sold out in seconds, couldn't even load EVGA's page for like an hour an a half. So I joined the queue to get a card.

I mean it's kind of my fault, because I didn't push thru with the RMA. But their support staff also shouldn't have reassured me that I'd be able to upgrade like originally planned.

In the end, I never received a single email from EVGA's queue, my warranty expired on the old card, and It's all my fault according to them for not doing the RMA on my card. (even tho they assured me I could get one at launch or close to.)

I'm feeling my days are growing more and more numbered on this forum. EVGA really dropped the ball for me. I honestly no longer suggest EVGA products to anyone, even tho I still purchase them. I feel like they tricked me into thinking I could upgrade without doing my RMA. Instead I got left with a dead card for 2 years running now.

Should have just done the RMA anyway. My fault, and lesson learned.

3090Ti prices hit insanity level. This is Rottenegg (scalpels safe harbour) availability and prices 5 minutes ago???

Some of the prices are even higher than scalpers ask for a 4090.

EDIT: MSI card is still 1,079

EDIT 2:

Best Buy ramped up prices also, available 3090 cards are $1,800 to $2,100 - take a pick

I am afraid that days when we could buy a wanted GPU are gone forever.
Scalpers straightens grip and stupid people pay.
I still use EVGA 3070 because I could get it (thanks to EVGA program) for manufacturer price.
Simply refused to this day to finance scalpers easy living.

After 4080 12GB justified canceling, imagine buyers rush to get 4080 16GB that I plan to buy.
Start to think should I hunt 4090 (if able to find MSRP)

Sure, I can get any card - any time, but don't want to feed low life scalpers.

TBH it was troubling to spent so many weeks checking online retailers or/and visiting Best Buy and Micro Center trying to get 3080 after launch day.
It was not on my "must do" list, so I stop to look for it.

Interesting find 5 minute ago, 3090 Ti FE for 11 hundred, but 450W power usage holds me from buying.
4080 16 GB TDP (340W) is much better.

Such a shame EVGA decided to leave. My current and 2 previous cards have all been EVGA. If EVGA decides to switch to Intel or AMD I will run those cards from EVGA, if my hardware runs it. Can't run rebar on my ryzen 2600x for example making ARC impossible. And I'll look into buying EVGA hardware otherwise, love this big middle finger to nvidia.

Someone should have publicly voiced their opinion and pulled down the Nvidia company.
I think you are not alone in your decision and many users will go for EVGA in case of switching to AMD. In the world of global cheapening of everything and everything, quality comes first for me!
