I have not been able to get OC Scanner to work on my system. I just downloaded and installed the latest version 1.4.0 As soon as I attempt to run either the Stress Test or the Benchmark Test the graphics window opens and instantly displays a Microsoft Message window that states that  EVGA OC Scanner has stopped working.
The attachment shows the application window. What am I not doing correctly?

Could it be that it doesn't like my PhysX card - xfx 8800GT?

I have a similar problem. When I start a stress test or benchmark it opens the stress test window, display the message "Initialization in progress" and then the program stops responding.

I don't think the 8800GT is the source of the bug.  Try to properly re-install your graphics drivers and maybe post OC Scanner log file.

Whenever I update the drivers I always ininstall the nvidia programs in Control Panel. I disable the network cards and run driver sweeper. I also run ccleaner and glary to get rid of all registry entries. Here is the log file:

Do you have a GPU tool like Precision or Afterburner or another one running in the same time ? If so, try to stop them to see if the problem is still there.

Precision is not running. I have Kombustor and Furmark installed and they are working fine. Neither is running along with OC Scanner.

    Hello,

I installed the OC scanner on my Windows 7 Ultimate yesterday and I have exactly the same problem. Same error message and all other graphics utilities work properly. I have been in contact with EVGA using email due to another problem with the GTX 480 and have has very poor customer service. I told them about the OC Scanner and  was told : "It works on my Windows System" End of message. I've heard nothing since.  I think the telephone tomorrow will be a better way to communicate.
