"This new version of Precision is built for the latest NVIDIA graphics cards and combines the best of EVGA Precision and EVGA OC Scanner to give you never before seen overclocking features and built in automatic tuning.
I am fairly skeptical of these statements given discovery of a settings menu. I don't know if all versions have this setting menu.
I have ran the scan to "find the optimal voltage/frequency curve for your card!" few months ago and it took a while to finish. When it was done it set a voltage/frequency curve of +150 offset. But now a see it was set to stop at +150?
Correct me if I'm wrong, the scanner was set to using a resolution of 1280x720 using the EVGA Furry E benchmark (there are three options [FuMark GL], Torus and EVGA) without MSAA antialiasing (for this there are four options Off, 2x, 4x and 8x MSAA)? Testing for 10 seconds than stepping 12.5Hz from 0 to +150 for every thirty five set voltage points of the voltage/frequency curve in Precision X OC.
I guess I was expecting the outcome to be unique for my video card. And guess is all could do as to me the software is behind a veil of secrecy for anyone to try and decipher/decrypt it (especially of those new to computer graphic cards) left to sift and wade through information of many others that think they might have an idea of some part or a whole of Precision X OC to piece it together and use a sound decision.
Why is it wrong to have a starters users guide to Precision X OC?
