First off, im sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but as it is a ap for the 400 series cards I thought this the right place. My problem is I am unable to use this application fully. I can start it up, but once the app is started, it will crash if I try and change anything. If i change car, scenery, Etc, the app crashes, so I really can't enjoy it fully :( Im wondering what, if anything, I am doing wrong. I have tried running as admin, and still no dice. I run 2x 470's in SLI, and I have Windows 7 Ultimate x64 bit, with the latest official nvidia drivers. (258.96)

Take the cards out of SLi and see what happens. It should still use both gpu's.

still no dice, I select a diff car/scene, it goes to the loading thing, the lil green circle spins, then it freezes after about 5-8 seconds. :S

My GTX 295 did this, but taking it out of multi gpu mode fixed it. Any error code/box with it?

nope, just completely freezes, and I thought it might be because I use MSI Afterburner, but ive tried without it running, and it still happens... Would it matter if the app was installed on a different drive then my C drive? I have a SSD so im trying to keep a eye on space, but I kind of doubt it because it loads the default scene just fine.

I think this may be your issue then. You have an older version of Garage Design. Make sure you have version 1.1

OK, checked and I have version 1.1, but I found the problem... MSI Afterburner never fully quit out, so it was running in the background (not just the taskbar)... -_- Got it goin now! Just wish it would work with MSI Afterburner, so I can use my custom fan settings 2 keep the GPU's from overheating :S

I recently installed this and I am having the EXACT same problem. I'm not using MSI Afterburner though. Any thoughts?
