Stumbled on this pic this morning on Facebook. Couldn't find any info or other pics though.

Dang, old news. I looked over there but didn't find it. Guess I did a poor job searching. Very cool setup, it would go beautifully with some 1080Ti KPE cards for those actually using them for what they were built for.

It's okay, I hadn't heard of it either until someone else brought it to my attention.

The epower would never ever be used with a kingpin card. The kingpin is built with the epower inside it already. These are only meant for the modification of the reference pcb to get it up to the higher vrm ln2 cards.

The FTW3 is the same vrm count as the Kingpin this round, but the Classified and KPE's usually have the highest and that incorporates the epower directly into the mix, so that "we" don't have to destroy pcb's. Hence why the classified and kpe have always been "built for ln2, not air"

This particular module was created to overcome/circumvent reference/FE card power limitations in laboratory testing.

Plus what guys said already above - all of that stuff is integrated in some capacity into Kingpin card, so don't sweat too much that you can't buy it anywhere.
