Sorry if I post this in the wrong section. I just sold my 1080p monitor and I'm using my brothers 32" 720p hdtv on my pc. The problem is whenever I select 720p in the display settings the image looks zoomed in. I can't see the borders and I can only see half of the start bar on the bottom of the screen. On the display settings it shows that this monitor can supposedly display 1080p which is bull. Whenever I select 1080p the words look extremely small and pixelated, obviously not the native res. I've already tried reinstalling nvidia drivers. HDTV is hooked up via hdmi. I hope someone has a solution, my games look zoomed in as well.

I know in the Nvidia Control panel, there's an option to manually create your own resolution.

HDTV's also have different picture modes, you should try cycling through them. My LG HDTV also has aspect ratio options, maybe your TV does too.

Verify if the tv has zoom turned on.

Well I already tried all those solutions mentioned above. As for GPU SCALING my drivers won't let me touch those options, It's greyed out infortunately. I got the model number for this tv. It's a panasonic TCL32C12. The native res is 1366x768. I've tried adding this res in custom resolutions and it still looks the same. The funny thing is that when I play my games in "1080p" my gpu is actually pushing that many pixels. I get double the frames in 720p which still looks zoomed in and ugly. This is frustrating.
