This is just something i thought i would share with the group.

I just want to say first, compared to OTHER 3090 KINGPIN's, the chip in my 3090 KINGPIN absolutely sucks, so there's that too. But this is how my card performed as it began life with a AIO when i got it in November/December 2020 and then swapping it over to a Hydro Copper this week.

Port Royal Benchmark

AIO Run - Best Scorehttps://www.3dmark.com/pr/976027
LN2 BIOS
No Classified Tool
5.3Ghz All Core
+110 Core ( the maximum my chip will do in port royal, anything over 110 on the core or clocking to 2130MHz during the run was a crash)
+1475 Memory

Hydro Copper Run - Best Score (so far) - https://www.3dmark.com/pr/1531948
LN2 BIOS
No Classified Tool
5.3GHz All Core
+115 Core (clocked to 2145MHz for a few scenes. went back and forth on certain scenes, some maintained 2115MHz while other scenes maintained 2130MHz)(Also +120 on the core is a crash)
+1550 Memory

Hoping i can find a way to squeeze a little more but I'm afraid my chip just isn't as good as others and it appears i can't add more the core clock than i am already giving it.

Your scores are not bad for the ln2. The big scores you see are from people using the 1000w bios and the classified tool to control voltage. Ambient temp plays a big role too

My 2080ti Kingpin is extremely limited to overclocks until you use the secret bois and classified tools to tweak and control it better. I have to agree the 3090 Kingpin would be the same. I have always felt these cards have amazing potential if using the right soft6and bios. Of course this goes with saying use at your own risk.

Card doesn’t suck but if you want higher scores you do need the 1000w and classified or dip switches

I have the classified and the 1000w BIOS just haven't had the balls to flash the BIOS lol.

Run ln2 or dice if you want high scores on the kingpin it’s marginally better than any 3090 on ambient.

I feel like something might be wrong with your card. this is with the galax bios but I wasn't far behind without it on my 3080ti.

It only pulls 430W in port Royal on the 520W BIOS. i tried for weeks about a year ago to figure it out but gave up, nothing i tried worked and with so many mixed reviews on it it just wasn't worth investing more time messing with it. With the slider all the way to 121% it goes to about 108% is as high as i have seen it go.

You can generally add about 25+watts to that due to underreporting. Have you flashed the updated bios with fastboot disabled?

Another way I found I lost power and bench points was cheap extensions or bad connection at the extension. I switched to a set that uses 16awg wire and got back to the levels I was at just using the PSU cables.
