Hi, I just got this card two weeks ago and this problem occurred about a week ago. My RGB Bar doesn't light up evenly spread (1st and 4th picture), on the left side of the bar you can see that it has black zones where the light doesn't reach some of the rgb bar. I have tried to contact EVGA customer service, and wanted to RMA it but they said my card is perfectly fine (wth?). Day by day later the Dead Zone became worse (2nd and 3rd picture), it has a lot more dead zone on the RGB Bar and still EVGA has yet to respond me with an RMA for my card. Can anyone or you guys help me out here? I paid a lot for this Gpu hoping EVGA RMA will be fast to respond and RMA my card, but they didn't. Kinda disappointed with EVGA. I will post a youtube video about the static and the animation of the RGB Bar

I'm not sure how the RGB on these cards is actually arranged in there, but that looks like something that could actually be fixed easily, if you're willing to take the shroud off. To me it looks like the LED strip (or whatever is inside of there) is loose. I can understand why they wouldn't want to RMA a card for just this, taking it apart fixing it & sending it back to you is a lot of paid-repair time for something that's cosmetic. While I agree that's a frustrating thing to hear, and deal with, the card itself is completely fine, just the lighting is being effected - I don't think you'll get an RMA out of that unless you really push the issue with them.

Yeah but that would avoid my warranty, and so on. The thing is I bought an EVGA cards because for their long and reliable warranty, even thought they are REALLY expensive in my country like 300 US dollars more versus a zotac rtx 3080. I didn't expect I paid like around 1300 dollars for a gpu (not only because of scalpers prices, but also import taxes and much more to arrive in my country) just for me to have a "defect card" that I have to fix it by myself and risk voiding my warranty. Wow. Really? I would love to tinker with my gpu but if I void it then I can't do anything about this card and EVGA Customer Service didn't help at all and gave me no instructions how to do it. At least EVGA shouldn't lie about my card problem, SAID "THE CARD IS FINE" and help me with instructions how to fix the rgb bar without removing the warranty or just straight up RMA my card. Sorry If I'm this mad cause I saved this money for my pc hoping for my dream setup and a big company can't even or don't wanna fix my small gpu problem

In such a case please contact EVGA technical support ASAP.

Taking the shroud off to see if there is an alignment issue on the LED strip that you can fix will not void the warranty - if it did, people wouldn't be able to warranty their cards after installing things like Hybrid kits. So you're dealing with the main branch of eVGA in Taiwan, that might explain why their RMA department is less friendly, from the sound of it, there's all kinds of issues there in terms of where it was purchased being an authorized retailer or not that would determine whether or not the card's warranty is even viable where you're located - I don't know that information for areas outside the U.S. so I won't speculate. Hopefully they get your problem resolved eventually.
