Right, because I'm sure those products wont have initial issues like all the other H series coolers. This is an inherent issue with liquid cooling, no matter what route you take. At least with the AIO units you have the possibility of recovering some of your loss through the manufacturer of the unit (as evidenced here). Something you dont get with a custom WC loop.

understood, but the all in one units cost way less then a proper custom loop.

Glad it worked out for you Kamarad.
And on a cooling note i have both an H50 for the cpu and a custom loop for my Gtx-590.
And yes i do keep a close eye on it all!

Hey when dust mixes with water it becomes conductive. :P Lucky nothing got messed up though.


Well, it appears to not be water at all and doesn't seem to evaporate.


Does it feel somewhat slippery? If it does then it's probably mineral oil.


I would guess it was distilled water and propylene glycol. Think of it as a non-toxic anti-freeze.
