Having Problems with my GTX 2070

GTX 2070 is having green and pink pixellation and my games are launching, but freezing

So I downloaded the latest drivers for GTX 2070 but I am constantly getting green and pink pixellation everywhere This has caused weird issues for me in my games: RII: Campaign: Before the updates, I did get some constant screen tearing around the campaign map but nothing too big. I've played Napoleon and then the graphics went Black and it went all the way around and it was just bad.

Also Assassin Creed:  My games are launching, it goes to the screen, then it freeezes. The game is running behind the frozen background and the mouse is moving. I've never had this before. This was brought from Scan and it is a very recent graphics card, it has only been two months since the purchase in June.

If this is not to do with the drivers, what is causing this to happen? Before this I didn't have problems loading up battles and fighting them. After this, it seems that the game is crashing, or is crashing, even when I disabled mods and launched vanilla it is not working All three of my Assassin Creed games(Black Flag, Origins and Odyessy have crashed)

    Welcome to the Forum
If you can post an image showing the Pink and Green Pixilation.
I could be the Video Cable or Overclocking the GPU Memory to high.
Reseat the Video Cable at both ends.

the bad pixels & or colors can be a monitor going bad, the video cable connecting them or the graphics card too overclocked/ going bad.

Check the cable 1st &/ or replace it.  Then try a different port on the video card, & also underclock the core & memory by 100 hz or so  - then preferably try a different card if you can.

Have you tried reverting to a previous Nvidia driver or too.

Just make sure everything's running at stock settings the way it came out of the box and the temps are decent.

I'll do this and let you know

This is a recent purchase as what I had was a GTX 780 which had gotten quite old

Reverted back to June,  July made no difference

    What are stock settings?

Should I do a complete uninstallation of the graphics card and re-install from the start?

If you never messed with the GPU's settings, there's no need to worry if you OC'd it or not.

    Try step #2 here.
