I needed a gaming build for the house that was small, quiet, and power efficient (Unlike my rig at the office).  A MITX build fit the bill!

So far I am loving it!  It is really quiet (can't hear it) and powerful as well.

Specs:
i7 2600K (@ 4ghz)
MSI Twin Frozr III GTX 570
ASRock z67 mini ITX motherboard
8gb G.Skill sniped low voltage ram (1.25v)
Samuel 17 CPU cooler
Silverstone SUGO SG07-B case
650w PSU
intel 510 120gb SSD
WD Green 1TB HDD 7200 RPM
Hitachi 750 GB 2.5" 7200 RPM HDD
Samsung S24A350H 24" monitor
DAS Silent mechanical Keyboard
Logitech G500 mouse
Evga Mousepad

The only reason I got a MSI GPU is because it is a really quiet and cool running card.  With its heatsink design it runs really quiet and cool and I really needed silence for this rig and all the evga cards I looked at could get a bit loud while gaming...

Anyway, now onto the pictures.  Keep in mind, it looks a bit messy, but I did the best I could with the space provided in the case (not all that much :P).

Sorry for the crappy pics's.  I did not have my nice camera at the house at the moment.

It burns through most games and runs quiet so I am really happy with this build.  The CPU is overclocked to 4GHZ and never goes over 50*c at full load.

Overall....  AWESOME!

Breaking stereotypes are good, I applaud any attempt at shrinking systems while maintaining the capablility of larger ones, proving that the larger one isn't a prerequisite.  Also you don't have an unnecessary array of fans not really cooling anything.

    muskie32
power efficient (Unlike my rig at the office).
Nitpick:  Chances are your rig at the office is more efficiently using power than this miniITX system.  Efficiency is a ratio of 'how much you get from what you give'.  All electronics, whether processors or lightbulbs, use less than 15% of all the electricity pumped in to do something, the rest is converted to waste energy mainly seen as all forms of heat.  Sure your power bill is lower (can brag), but that doesn't make the miniITX more efficient (can't brag); in fact overclocking lowers efficiency because performance is not even linear per program while power draw is exponential.

For Intel processors, 0.122 x TDP = Continuous Amps at 12v [source].
