Meh.  It could be better.  First of all, only three GTX 480s?  Second, that case looks puny.  A Mountain Mods Ascension seems much better.  Water cooled CPUs?  No, no no!  Use two phase change cooling units.  Water is okay for the GPUs.  I dislike the mouse choice too - Cooler Master Storm Sentinel Advance FTW.

Feser coolant?  How silly of them.  Distilled water + PHN PT Nuke or silver coils are the way to go.  Cheaper and no stains or other crap to deal with.  Bad choice on the Thermaltake PSU Booster.  Those aren't very good quality.  2x Corsair AX1200s would be great.  I'd go for a Logitech G35 headset myself and a Logitech G19 keyboard, as well as a NVIDIA 3D Vision kit and three Alienware OptX AW2310 monitors.

Have to agree with you completely only thing is, if you don't know how to maintain a Phase Change.. i really know nothing about them

It can be easier than water actually.  Especially if your case has a removable motherboard tray but you can always just turn your case sideways.

Congrats EVGA on making the cut.

I"m actually really surprised that they went for three 2560x1600 displays instead of a trio of Asus 3D displays for some serious 3d Vision Surround action.

Although I guess if you're going to be building a PC that uses two CPUs, it's going to need some screen real-estate for non-gaming uses as well.

Do you have to do anything to protect the motherboard with a Phase Change? Or is that only with pots

You have to insulate the motherboard for phase change and there are plenty of ways to do this.  When I set up a phase change rig with my buddy (sadly it isn't my phase change rig) we used the guide that forum member waltlove_99 posted on the old forums.  So first we dipped the back of the motherboard in plastic dip because it comes off easily in sheets.

Electrical tape was used around the CPU socket, then comes the Vaseline which first goes around the socket.  Keep a hair dryer a few inches above it on a low setting until it starts to run.  Then some more went into the socket, with the hair dryer running.  When that started to run the CPU was mounted, then came more Vaseline with the hair dryer.  Mounted the block and there you go, sub zero.  But later on I read that this method is kind of risky.

I don't even know how to drain a water cooling loop.

Yeah if I ever go that route for my own PC (which I probably will in the distant future) I'd have to educate myself with another insulation method.  Replacing the Vaseline with dielectric grease should be fine.

Yea, its pretty far down the road for myself... i haven't even made the switch to water cooling yet, but that's more of a finacial issue not knowledge... hopefully WCing next year!

I'm going to skip water cooling... I don't like the sound of the maintenance involved.  Air -> extreme for me!
