What card did you get? the pics are a touch blurry so I can't see the model, looks like a GTX 970 or 980 though.

It looks like another 780. The new cards don't say Active Cooling Xtreme on the bottom edge anymore. Instead, they just have ACX 2.0 (look at the far right where the piano finish is, it is spelled out. That stopped with the 700 series cards). That Tage is also silver, where the 900's are black, blue, red, "fake gold" and RGB.

Also, the shape of the are that says "780" is different and more rectangular than the 970/ 980, meaning it isn't a 900 series.

OP, great to hear they took care of you. Evga has some of the best customer service in the world and usually makes the customer happy whenever possible.

Re: MY EVGA RMA EXPERIENCE 2016/03/26 22:39:05 (permalink)
You all gonna think i'm a dinosaur but i've been using EVGA gpus for many years,my first one (can't remember the model) was a AGP (i'm a dinosaur) .Through those years i never had any problems (no RMA at all) until, recently i bought a gtx760 unused ,sealed in its original box,it was DOA.i found out there was 154 days left to the warranty so i contacted customer support and got a ticket for rma.I shipped the card to California (i'm in BC Canada) and not even 2 weeks later i was back running my system with a new GTX 960 FTW.I don't like when stuff die one me but EVGA got me through that very easily with a more than satisfying result.I had to rma a mobo with another brand that starts with a "A" and ends with a "S" and it was such a nightmare .I use EVGA gpus in each of my builds, new and used and they're always running perfectly. All that to say i'm amazed and will keep on using their products...too bad they don't make diapers for old farts like me because i would use them....JK.
