I didn't see any of them, but I also can't imagine NCIX allowing him to do one of those kinds of videos. They would likely have fired him instead. This kind of situation is what they have a legal team for.

Yes but the other linus, Linus Torvalds is so much smarter and wouldn't let his youtube account get hacked like this cat lover linus
That was why I asked you if you were a fan of that channel earlier, I was talking about the Cat tips crap...The guy I saw on the removed video was named Linus, but had nothing to do with NCIX.

Oh ok, lol. No, I don't have a cat, so I never venture to his cat tips profile, lol. I do, however, happen to be the proud daddy of 2 of the most beautiful bunnies in the world, lol.

Fascinating thread.
Came across this in Google and thought I'd clear up some of the misconceptions.
1. The NCIXcom and LinusTechTips accounts were restored after 1 and 3 weeks respectively.
2. No legal action has been pursued against the hijacker, and it did not disrupt NCIX business in any way other than to prevent me from uploading a few videos.
3. I never made any embarrassing videos to get the accounts back. I was able to retrieve them by submitting the appropriate forms to Google and waiting for them to contact me about how to set things right.
4. My cat tips channel is awesome :p

but i really hate that the "hacker" keeps on getting publicity he is no hacker just a exploiter truth is he is about 14 years old something i found out when he "hacked" tinkernuts channel
he is just what they call a script kiddie but now he is probably famouse i hate that
