YouTube is shady, there are lots of things that happen on there every day that go unnoticed. People treat that website as the gospel sometimes. Who knows what these members did to get this done to them, could be entirely innocent, we will probably never know. 
 
Linus works for NCIX doing reviews for all kinds of products on YouTube.

Truly though, although I was a competitor so to speak of Linus', I admire his tech knowledge so it's ridiculous that he seems to have been singled out.
At first I assumed it was just because he's got a larger following, but when NCIX got hacked also it wreaks of something personal.

It appears that Trubritar's account has been hit up for attempts as well, so he said he's taking his page down temporarily so as to prevent it from happening.  Some1's got a serious hatred for certain PC companies and tech reviewers.  I think this may be the reason lulzsec split up, cuz of jerks like this wanting to do this crap and being part of lulzsec they couldn't.  I'm just stating my opinion on that part, idk the facts yet.

Just as any other form of art, modding is a passion, not just a hobby.  We fawn over it, we love it, we hold it near and dear to our hearts, we are passionate about it.  We are modders, and we are artists.

From what I've dug up, it seems the keylogger is via email javascript.
At the very least, this is gonna make reviewers much more reluctant to open viewers' email questions.

Yep, back when I used to play Red Alert 2 very competitively they had a "Hacking" problem. Which consisted of numerous people with passwords like 12345678, 87654321, password, their screen name, their screen name spelled backwards, ect... 20 out of the top 50 accounts were stolen within a week or two once people started trying to take other peoples accounts.
