what up evga community!! so i noticed the led sync function added to the precision x software. question about cross compatibility. i use the corsair h100i v2. the sync function works to control the corsair's led both color matching and effects. however, i noted in the corsair link software when the led sync function is on, i lose the ability to manually control my fans. ie i cant selecting "max" which would normally ramp the fans up to full on the aio just does nothing to the rpm's. i also noted the rpm readout in the link software only reads a steady 1400 somethin rpm. likewise, the pump rpm readout in link reads a dead steady 3000rpm where before enabling the led sync it had a reading that varied 3000-3090rpm. also if i switch the pump profile from "performance" to "quiet" in link it shows no change in the pump speed. just a steady 3000rpm.

i just turned off the led sync for fear it was having a negative effect on the corsair softwares ability to not only read and display proper readings in their software, but that it was actually inhibiting the clc's ability to change fan speed based on temp readings to cool more aggressively.

i did not run say aida64 to heat the cpu and listen for any change in fan rpm's to see if they were or werent reacting to temp changes.

was the led sync feature intended to be compatible with the h100i v2, or is its ability to indeed sync my 1070ftw hybrids led with the h100i's as far as it goes, leaving the link software broken.

I have a similar issue as you. Just finished my new rig a few days ago. After allot of tedious trial an error I can tell you that there is a conflict between the two software. When EVGA Precision is installed it causes the Corsair USBXP Driver to crash/malfunction. Only way to temporarily fix this is to go into Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus Controllers > Corsair USBxp driver, right clicking it and then selecting properties. After that press OK  and it will tell you that there has been changes made to your hardware and you need to restart. Click Yes which will reboot your pc obviously. Once this is complete and you reenter device manager you will see that the USBxp driver has been disabled. Reenable it and your h100i will now reappear in the Corsair Link software functioning alongside EVGA Precision XOC, but as said this is only a temporary fix. As  soon as your reboot the process needs to be repeated just to get it to work again meaning a reboot everytime. Only way to fully resolve the issue with the Corsair driver is by removing EVGA Precision XOC, which is what I ended up doing. I can now no longer control the RGB lighting, but since the EVGA 1080ti FTW3 Elite is pretty much maxed on stock setting I do not need the OC functions of this software either.

    Hope it helps.

I know this post is very very old, but I am having a problem with my h100i v2 and led sync. For almost 2 years my cpu and gpu had the rainbow effect and worked flawlessly together. I had both corsair link and xoc + led sync installed. On startup, I would simply push "yes" to led sync to work and both would start syncing. Ever since I updated (on accident because I clicked the wrong button) I can no longer sync and I cannot, for the life of me, remember how I found a work around. Do you know how to get the syncing to work again?

I was just seeing if this person had a fix, if not I made a new thread. I don't really think anyone outside of this guy will see something from a year ago
