The EVGA points that associates get from folks using their code have a 30 day vesting period, so I will be able to use those points in 2021...hopefully for a new PSU.  I made the KPE drop list today (FINALLY!).  And I will purchase it today...and by 2 pm PT...that is the usual cutoff for shipping out same day.  So, if you were one of the lucky ones today, please try to complete your purchase before 2 pm PT.

how are non elite members purchasing cards or these are just aliases, employees, other?    

How are you deciding who is or isn't an elite? Forum post details are no indication of elite status especially for people who registered qualifying products and didn't have to spam their way to 100 posts. 

People who have registered a couple of weeks ago with less than 100 posts? May be I have to re-read what is and what is not EVGA Elie member.

Yes, you should read how to become an elite member. It’s on the elite member page. At evga.com. It will answer all of your burning questions.

Finally (thank you!).  It doesn't seem real yet.  And I have yet to actually purchase it.  I shouldn't jinx it...but I already marked in in the sheet.  

It’s okay! With work and snow obligations, I haven’t even been able to fire mine up yet! Perhaps we’ll both get to try ours out at the same time!

Of course, I guess those work obligations paid for the card, but I digress.

Yes, associates cannot use codes and get the 5% discount (we get EVGA points instead).  It is a binary choice.

My autonotify was 9:07 am yesterday and I can't believe it the in stock came today!  Now to figure out how to get this thing to fit in my case :)  Even worse the eventual SLI !

Now, on to finding (hopefully) a buyer for my 24G-P5-3978-KR so my wife doesn't kill me for purchasing two 3090s inside a week!

LOL I am literally in the exact same boat as you on the 3090 XC3 Hybrid. In which case I wonder if anyone wants a pair of the 3978's NVLinked for SLI or AI/DL something?

If I sli'ed them, I'd have them read on the card's screens:
