So is this the end of the 3090 kpe? No posts in over a month!

Definitely feels like it is the end of the 3090 Hybrid K|NGP|N.  I am still holding on to faint hope for the Hydro Copper....

So, I took apart the 3090 KPE Hydro Copper to clean the inside of it today. It was a terrible pain in the butt; almost as horrible as the 2080 Ti FTW3 Hydro Copper was. It really feels like EVGA does this on purpose to keep people from taking them apart, which makes no sense at all. People need to be able to maintain the products they buy and taking apart a waterblock for cleaning is normal maintenance. When I needed to clean the 2080 Ti FTW3 Hydro Copper block a second time, I learned from EVGA that they did not sell replacement o-rings for Hydro Copper blocks, so I sold it and replaced it with an EKWB GPU block. Unfortunately, the Kingpin model has only two options available, both difficult to acquire because of limited availability and both overpriced.
 
Getting the o-ring back in place was a complete nightmare. The plexi has a shallow groove for it and it tries to pop out of the groove. The first time I reassembled it and leak-tested it had a leak because the o-ring slipped a tiny bit. Everything turned out fine in the end, but it was far more hassle than it should have been. This makes me angry, and causes me to think it would be best to avoid buying enthusiast grade video cards in the future and stick with less expensive generic reference PCB GPUs with multiple waterblock options and just shunt mod and voltage mod them for better overclocking.

lol I didn't express an opinion lol. I was offering a suggestion to someone with a concern. They can bring their concerns to EVGA now to see if there is any sort of remedy. Doing so after a launch will not be effective.
 
And I don't think it is unreasonable for people in a dead 3090 KPE queue to be given some sort consideration when/if 3090 Ti KPE launches.

I think I would want to see the price of the card before I got moved to it, unless EVGA would want to honor the 3090 Kingpin price to the 3090 Ti Kingpin.

Neither is likely to happen. To the extent it gets a queue at all, it will be a Queue 3.0 or 3.1 queue and not one that operates under the Queue 2.1 rules.  And EVGA will be charged a premium by NVIDIA for those boards…and that will be passed on to the consumer.

I don’t see any real point of the 3090Ti Kingpin. It won’t be binned any better than the 3090KPE was. The price will be insane. And it will be outclassed by the 4070.

What's the likelihood on whether a K|NGP|N will be announced as part of any 3090 Ti announcement?  I am thinking (and hoping) "yes".

I'm not planning on buying it, especially since it doesn't have price listed. I'm mostly just curious how long it'll take to get the notification.

I started putting together a self-reported list like I did for the 3090 K|NGP|Ns but realized with Queue 3.0 rules, tracking it accurately is a fool's errand. 

True, it still would be nice to have a list just to generally see the general direction but it definitely won't be as accurate as your previous que lists.
