Exactly. I have seen one on there but today more were posted on eBay. I will always say that EVGA should remove these peoples Elite membership and not allow them to order specialty cards again. It’s insane the price they’re asking

Sadly no,  they won't let that much money go on without taking their share with taxes.    Last time I order something at EVGA it was send by UPS too, and with ups you can pay the duties via their website,  so overall depends on the exchange rate the card will end for a total of average 3000$ CAN with taxes.
 
And last time I was surprise about how fast I've got the item too,  less than 5 days,   counting the weekend and the day I missed the first attempted delivery.  It was start of last december,  they probably started to have a big load of christmas deliveries too.

Apparently 2 people used my Associate's code for Kingpin purchases today, thank you to you peoples in particular, that's eVGA Bucks towards my Z590 Dark purchase when the time comes ^_^
 
Hoping tomorrow enough people passed on it for the queue to hit me, but I realize that's extremely unlikely since from what I know only ONE person out of the entire Kingpin queue so far as declined to purchase.
 
At least I know the next actual drop should hit me because I'm not that far away now.

My turn came up. I passed. I was not in the sheet. Hope that helps your glimmer of hope to get one today/this week. In the end I just couldn't pull the trigger to move on from my 3080 Hybrid converted from Air. It OC's pretty well that I'm probably running at 3090 stock levels, so to pay more than double for just 3090 OC, I couldn't do it!

If you've got the room in the case, you can't beat a hybrid card... except maybe with a custom loop, but I'm not there yet myself. I also had a 2080 Ti and it's definitely a good card. But my 3080 has been pure bliss. If you can afford the K|ngP|n I don't see it treating you badly. :) And I'd probably have pulled the trigger if I was still on 20 series myself. I lucked out with my timing and sold my 2080 Ti right when they were surging on Ebay and then had to game on a 980 Ti for a couple of months until I got my hands on my 3080, basically upgraded for free though. The K|ngP|n is a beast for sure. Would love to have one.

And, to answer your question, I am waiting on the HC...although my resolve is weakening...a hybrid would also work after some reworking of the plan.  This wasn't the original plan, mind you, but given how much time I have had to think about things...4+ months (and that is time period AFTER I naively thought I would be able to purchase a gpu)...well, the plan has morphed several times over.  I am cognizant that I am overthinking it, but...if this is the way of the future for tech launches...this may be the last build I ever do (having to go through this again would likely kill me; I am not a spring chicken anymore). 
 
Thanks for your kind words; I hope the qc issues with the HCs gets resolved asap and this all gets back on track. 
 
As an aside, my original plan was a 30 series air-cooled card and I was able to buy that...but my older brother's card died and he doesn't have a back-up (I, at least, have a 3-yr old gaming laptop that I have been able to use for Rocket League (47 fps for the win!)...).

I tell my brother that every time he scores on me in Rocket League.  But he's a frontline worker (hospital doc) and, at the time, he was in desperate need of an escape after coming home from work last fall and to not have a functioning gaming pc of any kind...I had to give it to him.
