Can I fit 2 360s...I really do not want to stick this in my primary rig.... if I do I will worry about overusing it.

One thing I will say in response to some other posts: The Normal BIOS on the Kingpin is supposed to be limited to a lower power target.  OC BIOS is supposed to have a 500W limit (I think), and the LN2 BIOS will be limited to 520W if memory serves.  You have to contact Vince or someone with the "unlocked" LN2 BIOS to be able to push higher, and I'm pretty sure said Unlocked BIOS technically voids your warranty, at least to the point that "if anything fries that indicates it drew too much power" they will not replace the card, if you're specifically using the LN2 BIOS... I could be wrong about that, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works and why they get your serial # etc when you request that BIOS.

I'm cool with it either way to be honest.  I hope for others it drops this coming week, but if I have to wait til January, that's fine by me, just means I'll have 2 more weeks of pay tucked away to give me cushion on top of being able to purchase it now.
And it gives me 2 weeks to thoroughly vet this FTW3 Hybrid & research the KPE further, figure out if it's really something I wanna do.  I'm already working on that though.  Tested at +210/+1250, got some interesting results, I think the vRAM clock is causing some score loss, but I'm not gonna fiddle with high-OCs anymore today, too tired to keep an eye out for artifacts or clock-drops in the OSD lol

I think it's fair to assume that at least half the people if not more signing up for these have put themselves on the list, people that buy Kingpins aren't community ghosts generally speaking I don't think.  Who knows though, unless eVGA discloses how many Kingpins are actually made when the run ends, we'll never know how many were actually in the queue while it was going.

Yeah generally forum lists are useless since majority never use the forums but it might be safer to trust these numbers since you have to be elite to order one and a lot would of gotten that status via the forums. Sure there will be many who got elite by buying and registering gear but less then normal

I have the first world problem of deciding between a getting a KP or, keep my 3090 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING (24G-P5-3987-KR) I got from another vendor. I already have a CoolMaster M240R in my ThermalTake case and realized I might not be able to install that CPU cooler AND the KP’s rad-a-didi-ator. So I might end up having to pass up in the KP. Dammit Spock! This 3090 is buttery smooth BUT does warm up a bit when I stress test it.

That's a tougher call if your 3090 is already working well.  For me, I ended up wanting the flexibility to push my card a little harder than I have in past generations and I wanted the comfort knowing that I was working with the best of what EVGA had to offer. I don't make purchases of this size very often and the $200 delta or so...I was willing to justify bridging that gap.

Okay this may be a dumb question but if @jacob or another member could answer this who received a card in the first batch, did the Kingpin not come with screws to mount the radiator to your case? My package did not have them. It's fine for now because my case has been delayed to next week but my alphacool rad screws were not the correct thread when i checked it. Happy with the card otherwise but kind of bummed about this. 13800 stock on PR, stopped tuning at 15100 because my apartment AC froze up trying to keep it under 70.

So I had a chance to test bench my card somewhat yesterday and what I found was it has the 450W max bios on all 3 spots....

Confirmed it's the same bios file? Not just being power limited on each one? Strange but at least that's an easy fix if it's just the wrong bios files.

Very nice score. What where the power limits you reached?


The oled reported about 480 with spikes to 500.
