Ugh, looking at the reviews this morning. Yeah I'll pass. Have a 3080 already, was hoping to just to an illogical bump to the latest and sell my 3080 for mucho coin. Its not worth the hassle now that the performance really isn't much difference at all. To those of you that don't have a 3080 yet good luck. Not sure I would go for a 3080ti over a 3080 though if I could find at MSRP. The price difference is just too great considering how little the performance difference is. I'll revisit this next year or so for a 4080ti.

Closest I've got to a 3080 is the opportunity to buy a Zotac for similar prices to what the 3080 Ti will be going for. At this point I figure I might as well just queue for the 3080 Ti, it'll probably wind up cheaper anyways given I have a roll on that discount wheel thing.

Yes, that's exactly right, 3080 to the Ti isn't much of an upgrade. I would still buy a 3080 over the Ti if I can find one. Why pay $600-800 over the 3080 for a couple of framerates lol

So if I'm serious about getting a 3080ti, I need to: Get up at 2:59am and smash that auto-notify, get dressed, drive to one of the Bests Buy that will have the TI FE, get in line, wait to see if they have enough tickets for me to qualify...

Similar situation- I have a 3080 I was somehow able to buy from Gamestop. It was a bundle with $300 of crap I did not want, but after 6 months of failing, I went for it. I kept it in the box, waiting to hear about the TI. Now I need to decide between selling the vanilla 3080 if I can get a TI, and keeping the 3080 and mining with it to pay it off over the next 6 months to a year. Feeling pretty lucky in any case.

3070ti seems to be the best value going?? Is it only 2gb more vram on the 3080? I've got a 3070 right now just trying to decide if it is worth the upgrade money.... though I'm sure I can get what I paid for my card back still...

So what I have gathered is there should be a product page tomorrow and most likely it will appear a little bit before the launch. The product page will have an auto notify button that will appear for Elite members at 6AM PST tomorrow. In order to get in line for the card we want go to the product page (which hopefully will be there before the launch time) and spam F5 until the button appears. Hit the button and sign up while praying the site doesn't crash. Do I have that right?

Ironic so many of you are all like "not sure it's worth buying", or "meh, I'll keep my 3080", or "reviews aren't that great"... Then tomorrow watch, it'll be sold out like usual because 90% of those people that I stereotyped will have bought the hype and bought it anyway.
