I am praying the LCD panel is great and there is no fan bearing issues! Pre-ordered. I am excited. My current AIO display is yellowing out (NZXT). Also planning to use this when I upgrade to 13700k raptor later this year.

With the CLCx software, obviously, yes.  Controlling/updating/changing LCD image/animation without using the CLCx software?  Probably not.

You can connect the ARGB headers from the fans and PWM fan header, and control these through your MB BIOS and/or its ARGB software without much trouble.

Once you configure the image or animation you want on your CLCx, this should be saved to firmware and will only change if you update it to a different mode or content.

CLCx software is compatible only with the CLCx series.  CLC will continue to use Flow Control.

Other than appearance(screen/ARGB), is there anything that makes these any different than any other Asetek based AIO?

That is what I needed to know. Thanks!  Will the CLX software come with the new cooler? I don't see it as a download yet.

I don't seem to see the preorder link/option for any of the new CLX coolers. Did I already miss out? I clicked on the EVGA email link practically a minute after I received it and there is no pre order that I can locate. Best

If you mean the pump then I would bet no. that's the problem with using Asetek, it's their design. Only the pump/cold plate cap can be customized.
But at least the fans look like better radiator fans judging from the blade design in the picture. We just have to wait to find out how noisy the fans are.

It would be nice to have a full setup of matching fans even some with different specs for less noise than we might want for CPU cooling.

My Case is big I am estimating the 280mm one will work my case fine. the 360 hoses might not reach well. If I were to turn it around but hoses will be on exhaust fan on back case. Hmm

These fans seem identical to the ones found on the 3090ti hybrid and kingpin. On my 3090ti hybrid, they are pretty silent at around 60-70% fan speed.

I have a lian li 360 on the X570 dark and with the mounting + the rotated socket lead to some "ODD" fitments
wondering if this has the capacity to be "rotated" in relation to the socket + if the display can be rotated at least as MOST EVGA mobos have the rotated socket layout?

Yes, you can rotate the cooler (and tubing) around, and then use the software to rotate the display.

thanks the Lian Li I believe is NOT an asatek so I have not used there mounting and the Lian Li uses the stock AM4 hold down so only mounts 2 ways

I feel this is a missed opportunity by not offering an all white option for those doing white builds.  Maybe down the road?

Wondering if a 420mm size will be offered in the future?  Too many issues with the Corsair LED, would prefer EVGA to match the rest of my components.  Please make it so!

    Hi,

PLEASE tell me you designed in the option to change from metric to standard measurements for USA customers?    Metric may be standard other places, it is not here in the USA.  And while some here use it for engineering or whatever, the majority of people use standard, including myself and most schools in fact.   And for schools that teach standard, which is most of them, we can't place any hardware that is metric only because of that.  Same for software.  As an option to switch between the two, that is fine as higher level grades will teach some metric things but for the most part and for most schools, that is not the case.

I have tried some other products like this and all of them completely ignored that major issue.  If this new series does indeed support standard setting and measurements, I will be ordering quite a few right away.  Thanks.
