I have an HP Desktop Computer and I'm Trying to install this Video Card:
[link=http://www.evga.com/products/moreinfo.asp?pn=512-P1-N724-LR][/link]
Serial Number: 92272423026380

Part Number: 512-P1-N724-LR
Part Desc: e-GeForce 8400 GS PCI
I download the driver from EVGA like GeForce 8 Series for Windows 7 x64. With no sucess, I also try the driver from nVidia Web site Support, with the same results A attach the screenshots in hope's somebody can help me to put this card to work.

This is the information I get from the video card on the system.
-------------------
Property Value
Vendor 10DEh  nVidia Corporation
Device 06E4h  GeForce 8400 GS
Subsystem Vendor 3842h  eVga.com. Corp.
Subsystem Device B724h
Command 0000h  Bus Access Disabled!!
Status 0010h  Has Capabilities List, Fast Timing
Revision A1h
Header Type 00h
Bus Latency Timer 00h
Self test 00h  Self test not supported
Cache line size 32 Bytes (8 DWords)
PCI Class 03h  Display
PCI Class Type 030000h  VGA Controller
-------------------
Notes: I try entering the BIOS to disable the integrated Video Card (Intel (R) G41 Express Chipset) with the same results, I have the latest drivers for my Motherboard, Chipset, etc. I used to use this card in a Dell computer with XP Home without problems and the Installation CD I have from the card only supports XP and Vista. Also try just plugin the VGA port alone, DVI alone and S-Video alone, without sucess, by the way,  accesing to the configuration of resolution onle shows me up to 1600x900 without detecting the Monitor properly, I have an HP 2310m Monitor and the other video (the integrated one) detects without a problem, the system also have a TV Tuner on PCI, so the drivers for the PCI I think are working just fine. And yes, I'm from México and that's why my OS is in Spanish. Any help will be really appreciated.

Already try "Running as administrator" with the same results over and over again, in the FAQ Didn't find any other information, actually already try too to put everything manual (Chosing the location of the drivers C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\270.61\Vista 64-bit\English\Display.Driver) without sucess, either say there is no 64 bit driver on that location or chosing "Use disk", shows me nothing, the window empty. I'm wondering about the PCI to PCI Bridge and the yellow mark  on the device manager...

I would try right-clicking on that PCI to PCI bridge device and uninstall it, then reboot and see if Windows recognizes/repairs it.

Already did, without sucess, I'm about to try with ubuntu to see if automatically reconize, but my objetive its to put it to work on Windows 7, and the situation is mainly because the instalation program cannot detect the card.

Try installing it manually using this guide as an example:>

Just make sure you clean out your old drivers first.

It looks like your trying to run Intel and Nvidia graphics drivers together.
Not sure if this is possible, can someone confirm ?

You may have to disable your onboard graphics  in the Bios.

That will be like a second step, first I'm trying to use the GeForce 8400 GS like main or primary video card, but the system cannot detect the card at the time of instalation (eiter normally or running like administrator), no manual instalation for the driver autmaticalli detects the PCI to PCI Bridge and cannot start (code 10), but a funny detail, just with the nvidia card configured on BIOS, give me image on the monitor with the nVidia Card, Intel integrated card no signal, Windows 7 start, max resolutionits 1600x900, but not aero suporting, using like VgaSave I realize some IRQ making reference to the PCI to PCI Bridge, but at the end, with the same results. I'm gonna try to upload the screenshot of this so everyone can see what I'm talking about.

Finally I get sometime to continue on this subject and I upload a picture for my device manager where it can be seen the troubles with some IRQ between the PCI to PCI Bridge and VgaSave, so maybe somebody can led me to some solution:

I already try the new version of the driver (275.33) as well deactivate de Integrated Graphics Card (Intel(R) G41 Express Chipset) and no any nVidia programs software/drivers installed because don't let me install for not detecting the hardware.
By the way, on Ubuntu, installing the nVidia extra drivers get to work the video card, so I think its working properly (either the video card as the PCI slot). I hope somebody could asist me.
And here let the screenshots on ubuntu on the same system:
