I installed the Hydro Copper block today on my 780 SC. Temperatures and performance are all great and everything is running beautifully.

But I noticed the card is slightly tilted inside of my case....

Notice the ram in the back and how the card is tilted compared to the ram. Is it supposed to be like this?I dont want the card to get damage

Could this be caused by the Back Plate?

That appears to be alot of torque
By itself (as long as the card is working) its not a big deal....
But should you shock the case (drop or bump wrong) it could be a problem.

    Its unclear from the pic
Did it hang this way -before- you tubed it? could just be pulling from the lower tube connection

If the bottom exiting tube pulling the card down? or it could just be the card is very heavy. even my 760 has a noticeable lean on it.

Like the screws holding it down the card in the case with a misaligned motherboard in the case?

I started to place my cards on the motherboard and then Align all in the case and then do a round robin with the screws to include the cards then after the motherboard screws are tight then I remove the cards and put in the rest of the motherboard screws.

Its definitely not the tube holding it down, I double checked. The tube and fitting is really not that heavy. It actually takes quit some force to push the card back up in the normal position. Is it possible that the block is so heavy that its bending the card?

The temps Im getting are 27C during idle and ~35C during full load. Using all Superclocked stock clocks and voltages

EDIT: I suppose I will use this as a temporary solution:

It could be the block or the tubes that are weighing it down, either way the cards are designed to work with a bit of flex, obviously though you want to minimize it as much as possible.

i agree, but if it truly isnt the tubing that is an insane amount of flex for a block, especially a block sanctioned by the manufacturer?
