Hello everyone,

I just bought a 500B power supply and when I opened my computer I realized the power connector on the motherboard has only 10 pins.
Is there a way to plug the 20 pins connector anyway or do I have to return the PSU and find another one ?

Computer is a Lenovo M900 and motherboard is a Lenovo IQ1X0M5

Any help/advice appreciated.

have a nice day.

Francois

Can you post an image of your Motherboard (Showing the Connector)?
Sounds like Lenovo is using a proprietary ATX Power Header.
Not finding IQ1X0M5 on http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/partslookup as well.

+1 sounds like Lenovo is using a special motherboard and if they are using a special PSU and motherboard connector you might be out of luck here.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Thanks for your answers bcavnaugh and rjohnson11.
@bcavnaugh : I'm not at home, so can't take a picture of the MB. I also made a typo in the MB number, should read IQ1X0MS

Meanwhile, I searched on the Lenovo forums (I could have started there ...) and the consensus is to use a 24 pins to 10 pins adapter from modDIY.com (SKU : IBM-24-10)
(Not sure I can post a direct link here)
Part is ordered and I have now to wait 10-15 days until I can enjoy my new graphic card :)

Thanks again for your time and have a nice day.

    Francois.

Adaptor Still better check with the MFG that you can use it.
Myself I would NOT use it as they are showing two different Cables.
