Saw this on facebook, I see 34 how many do you see? I am surprised at the amount of different results people are posting.

    Don't forget the outer line...I think I got 40 once, but I don't feel like trying to do it again..heh

    No hints needed... and yes I already counted that... that is how I got 33.

    I see 36.
    1 is the border
    4 large and 2 large down the middle vertical +  3 horizontal squares down the middle
    16  medium 4 row x 4 columns
    2 medium small squares
    8 from the small squares in the center

    I see 36.
    1 is the border

    I counted 2 twice. It is 40.
     
    Largest (full area) is 1.Then there is 4 squares using 9 boxes (3X3) 9 using the 2X2 boxes 18 of the normal sized boxes and 8 of the smallest boxes

    I counted 2 twice. It is 40.

    Ahh I see... I didn't do the 3X3 and two of the 2X2
