Man I got a kingpin running 480 watts playing cyberpunk. keep it cool and your laughing, 3090 keep the backside ram cool! I put some heatsinks on there with a fan. I do some overclocking too. Soon I will install my block and do some ice water cooling. my plan is to run it hard for the warranty time. lol after that good luck.

Long enough that you're not going to be playing games 13hrs a day before it dies.
 
If you're that hardcore of a gamer then you're gonna want a new graphics card long before this one is at mid-life.
 
Is 5 years long enough for you? 7 years? 10 years? At that point will you be ready to move on to a new card?
 
If your card makes it past 90 days it's almost certain to make it past 5 years. Electronics like these usually fail early or work for a good long time.
 
The things I've seen fail on a graphics card are the fans. So, with the power off, blow out your PC case and your graphics card every so often, depending on how much dust tends to build up. Hold the fans so they don't get damaged as you blow air over them.
 
If you have a lot of pet hair getting sucked into your PC or you smoke indoors next to your PC you're gonna have A LOT more issues than people who don't.

The key is to keep it cool:
 
 - be sure to have good airflow in your case (look for "positive pressure pc fan case" on google: you need to have enough fans to bring more air in than fans that push it out),
 - make sure the air in your room get either renewed (open window for example), or cooled (a/c). Having a 3090 is like using a heater in the room so you need to do something about it.
 
If the card is not overheating then it shouldn't fail no matter how long or how intensively you use it.
