How long do you have to wait.... for it to upload? Probably ages, considering my SMPs take 17minutes to upload.

Well the issue was a finished -bigadv. It could not connect to server to upload completed WU. It had 55% time remaining for deadline but went past the deadline. It tried for 2days to upload and I didnt bother it, just monitored its progress to see if it would eventually succeed. Well it didnt make it and I shut down the machine. This is not the first one to do this either, this is my 4th -bigadv I have had that has done this. I am 1/5 in getting the WU to upload (-bigadv only) SMPs have no issue. It is an endless cannot connect to server, attempting to connect to alt. server.... on and on and on and onnnnnnnn. So for the 2.5 days it works on it and the 1.5 days it attempts to upload, nothing else gets done. I disabled everything as far as firewalls, pinged the server, checked the server, called my ISP again to see if it was my end. I have just decided to stop doing them and maybe give the whole machine to my son for a he)) of a gaming machine.
  Its not about the lost points, I dont give a hoot about that. Its the lost time and the lost WU that now has to be completed by someone else. Im just aggravated and dont like to complain but this really ticks me off. 

Did you try the "-send all" flag? This worked for me when I had a stuck wu in the queue. It's a pain to do in Tracker but it's possible.

If so, then this really needs to be investigated by the DAB!

I have just decided not to pursue them any more. Its a waste of the projects time if I cant upload them.

OK so Im a sucker..........
Since I had a 4 days off for New Years I decided to give -bigadv 1 more try. It completed with 56% of the time remaining and once AGAIN could not connect to collection server. I let it run for 1 day 16hrs and 11min to attempt to upload the WU. It did not, it is past the deadline and now unfortunately deleted. I am now 1/6 with -bigadv and retiring this machine to gaming. I apologize guys, Id rather not run it as a SMP machine due to the purpose I had built it for.
  I will add that I (prior to even downloading -bigadv)
opened the firewall
put it on a dedicated line on my router
never once interrupted the machine
only monitored the progress through HFM
disabled anything remotely close to a virus scan

What I guess I dont understand and no one can tell me is why in the log file it says
 "Couldn't send HTTP request to server " when I can go to this machine and "connect"
to the server and receive a "OK" in the browser. I have posted in the FF and have 1 reply
with no results. Meanwhile it still tries to upload and gives the error as usual. It should be
dead here in a few hours due to deadline being passed. I have a P2685 with 1d20hrs left
until completion, so I am hoping that it will upload and confuse myself and everyone else
when it decides its going to upload but the P6900 ends in epic failure.
 
Rklapp : Inquiring minds want to know soooooo I called my ISP to see if I had any upload/download limitations annddddd survey saysssssss Nope, I have unlimited capacity and was informed that "that size of file can take some time to upload" My response was "SAY IT ISNT SO!!! I HAVE HIGH SPEED INTERNET!!!"

No its still trying, might be ohhhhh 6 hours left before deadline. I did drop the -bigadv flag AGAIN. This is so depressing for the time and money involved.

it appears it might be because of the trace route to connect to the server. That is the only thing I can come up with after it being suggested by them at FF.

I called them again and talked with well umm yeah ahh "tech support" to see if they can change the routing to the IP address in question. ummm yeah ahhh the person I talked with could not understand what I was asking. Ill leave it at that.........

Yeah Tank I have a couple of times, 1st to see if it might upload after a restart and again to add more RAM to the system.

Yes Im using tracker, I unchecked -bigadv and placed it on -oneunit. It still has a way to go on this P2685. The 6900 still hasnt uploaded and is on its 19th failed attempt, I believe its past deadline, Oh well.

Well Its definitely the P6900 WUs I cannot transmit, It sent the P2685 with no issues as shown in the log file. It is not because of the tracker program (didnt think it was) because it can send any other SMP series I finish. I also agree Tank that 30 hops seems like an awful lot of hops and that it times out since it cant see the connection to the server is a small amount of time.
The collection server for the P6900s is in Sweden ( I think) Ive also contacted my server to see if rerouting was possible but they dont have a clue as to what Im talking about. I dont know what to do now seeing there are plenty of 6900s in the wild still and I can finish them just cannot transmit.
