Hey guys, yesterday I took a low profile PCI bracket from a old GPU, and made a anti sag solution using EVGA’s included bracket. Was pretty easy, as I just drilled a couple holes in the low profile bracket, then drilled a couple small holes in my EVGA DG86 case, used a couple small screws with nuts on the back and now the card sits perfectly level and is solid as a rock!! Just need to spray it with some flat black paint now that it’s all done. Really wish EVGA would make something like this. It would be very easy to make an adjustable one that slides to fit different cases. Any feedback would be great!
UPDATE: My two pictures didn’t upload as I guess they are too large. I have a very old iPhone 6S Plus, and those pictures are too large? What does everyone do with iPhone 12’s, or Galaxy S12’s?
How do you guys upload pictures on this forum, you compress them, or lower the quality?

Imgurl. Try that . Would love to see some pics of this. I made some custom 3d printed gpu support brackets but they dont hold up well on heavier cards like the 3090. . Im now currently milling an aluminum gpu support version on my cnc machine and im curious to see what yours looks like... 😁

Finally got the 3rd picture to upload.  Man, EVGA's limits on file size are crazy!  I should dig out my original iPhone to take pictures, and upload them...

Anyway, I think it turned out pretty good.  May grind down the end and round it off, then spray it flat black to make it look better, but overall, Im happy with the results!!!

I had an Iron Man BrickHeadz laying around. I removed one piece from each leg and that's right about the right height in a Corsair 4000D.

Great job geforce10! That looks easy for others to do. Thanks for posting it.

Glenn, would like to see what you come up with.

branflakes, you get points too! lol  <<Nice build, you should try to add a Mods rig profile. I say try, because it can be "finicky".

So what is the frame of reference for "level"? Is it based on the case and the top of the card using an actual level? Eye balled with the PCI-E slot? I ask as I've seen people pull/push their card up beyond the natural resting point and that just doesn't make sense.

I'm impressed by your craftsmanship, OP. It looks so simple but very practical. I presume you had to drill extra holes in your case?

Thanks! Yea, I had to drill two, very small holes on the back where the motherboard attaches to, but there is already holes all over anyway for the motherboard to attach to. I just didn’t care for that much sag in the GPU. My last card was a 1080ti and had very little to no sag. I kept thinking that over a year or two, would it stress the PCB enough to start causing issues? Maybe not but didn’t want to find out. I seen some other solutions out there but did not care for the long horizontal brackets (ugly) or the kind with a magnet that sits inside the case and sits vertically. Magnets next to my two mechanical hard drives make me nervous. With this simple solution, I can make any adjustments easy. Plus, after painting it, it can hardly be seen!!

Thanks!I didn’t want to drill any holes in my case either, but there are already many holes drilled for the motherboard screws, which is right where I drilled, so didn’t hurt so bad after I thought about it, lol!

That looks good but I would make sure no parts of it are vinyl as I have seen vinyl melt at about 115f. Or at least get soft and pliable.
