I just got a 3090 FTW3 Ultra. The RGB connector for the heatsink appears to be a proprietary plug with pins as follows:

Pin Wire
1. Red
2. Black
3. N/A
4. Black
5. N/A

Does anybody have a pinout for what wire does what? I could probably make a cable myself to plug it into the motherboard RGB header if I knew which wire does what.

I know this thread is old, but I just posted something today asking about this.
I looked at the pinout and if it follows conventional electrical wisdom, red should be 5v power, pin 2 should be data and pin 4 should be ground. I know the aRGB headers are in this order. I don't have anything to test with, though.

I was looking for this and found a video on YouTube.

To find it on YouTube, search for the most recent posted videos with the following title:

"EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 - onboard 5 pin internal connector pinout for ARGB LED Logo with Corsair iCUE"

(I can't copy the link because it's my first post)

    The pinout:

Pin 1: +5 VOLTS (red wire)
    Pin 2: DATA
    Pin 3: Not Used
    Pin 4: GROUND
    Pin 5: Not Used

The EVGA 3080 Ti FTW3 RGB is tested out of the case with no PCIe power. The main RGB strip on top of the card has the RED and GREEN channels reversed. That is weird.
