Well then it goes to show it matters what type of physX card you use. Since you used a 460 I would imagine that my 560 will perform as well as your 460 did.

I'm sure your 560 would do great. It's one of those things if you already have the card to use for physx you might as well use it because it does help with games that use physx but it is very debateable wether it is worth it for someone who is considering buying one. IMO the GTX 460 and the GTX 560 make the perfect physx card.

I just wish more games use Nvidia Physx the two games that the physx cards helps out the most in is Mafia II and Alice Madness Returns...the FPS boost given by the extra physx card is huge in those games (around a 30 fps boost in Mafia II) one game that is dissapointing that uses physx with it's gains is Metro..I was hoping to get a big boost in that game but it only added a handfull of extra fps.

What about Crysis one? How would you think that will perform with a physX card? There is a lot of physX that goes on in that game because your running through thick brush with leaves, tall grass, and trees moving when you walk past by them. Hey can you run like heaven bench mark with your 460 and see what score you get if it is not to much to ask? Do it with out the card and then with the card so we can compare.

Actualy Crysis does not use Nvidia Physx. From what I understand there are a couple of forms of physx used by other companies that are used in games and unfortunatly Nvidia physx used in games are the only games that make use of a physx card.
Here is a link with some info and a list of games that can make use of a physx card-->  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PhysX

I know Crysis does not use the Nvidia PhysX. What I meant was that Crysis has a lot PhysX to the game when you walk through stuff with a lot of interaction with the environment, water ect. If you catch my drift?  Also I already know must of the games that use Nvidia's PhysX technology but I appreciate the link that you offered.

You're confusing PhysX with physics. PhysX is a type of physics engine. Crysis uses it's own physics engine.

EDIT: I'm also going to add that a dedicated PhysX GPU only benefits games that allow it. If a game uses PhysX, but has no dedicated GPU support, then there's no benefit to having the card, which is almost every game based on the UE3 engine. Furthermore, having the card for non-PhysX games -- such as ones that use Endorphin, NaturalMotion, Havok, DirectCompute, and BulletPhys -- provide no additional benefit (i.e. Haven won't score any higher by having a dedicated PhysX card).

I meant to put physics not PhysX. I got so used to putting PhysX on this thread. I was not kidding on what I stated in another thread. I get things mixed up.  I surprised my buddy did not catch me on this one. Where you at bro?
